Where is it

In the centre of it all, close to shops, bars, restaurants and theme parks. Pirate's Dinner Theater, Knott's Berry Farm, Soak City Waterpark & Medieval Times are within a mile of the hotel. A free shuttle operates to Disney's California Adventure, Disneyland Resort and other attractions.

Standard Rooms feature pool or city views, with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds; sleeping maximum 4 adults. All rooms are non-smoking.

We stayed for a couple of nights early in February as part of a longer trip to LA and Hawaii. The hotel is easy to find, right off the highway, and parking is free. Check in was quick and easy and the team were friendly and efficient. This hotel has recently undergone a complete remodel, having previously been a Holiday inn. The refreshed rooms are clean, comfortable and modern and probably the best part of the hotel. The lobby appears to have had the same treatment and looked fresh and modern. We ate breakfast at the restaurant. Food was great and reasonable priced. Service was a little slow but I think that was just bad luck as a large party were seated just after us. The pool is large and clean and had a hot tub and plenty of chairs. The gym is smaller but it had everything we needed. Only one thing stopped me giving the hotel five stars, the prices at the gift shop in the lobby are extortionate. I should have known when I saw the tell tale lack of displayed prices. These places are never cheap but $10 for a small bottle of water and a coke is nothing short of a scam. I queried the price and was told that the prices are the same as walgeens and CVS and was given a short lecture with an implication that I was just a naive tourist who didn’t understand exchange rates. I actually paid less in Disneyland (and at the 5* hotel in Hawaii, by some margin) which is saying something! I understand that that these places are managed independently but it’s in the lobby and it’s a reflection of the hotel. It’s exploitative, plain and simple and the irony is that they’d probably sell a lot more if prices were a bit lower. Overall though, this is a nice hotel and we would go back. We just wouldn’t go near the gift shop! Read less

I was looking for it so I checked where it was in the Find My app and it showed it was still in the hotel room. My family and I stayed there for two nights. When we checked out, I accidentally forgot my airpods in our room. I was looking for it so I checked where it was in the Find My app and it showed it was still in the hotel room. It has only been 30 mins since we left and we came back to the hotel once I checked its location. The front desk and staff said they did not find anything in the room and I even checked with them again. The room has already been cleaned so who knows what happened. Obviously someone did not surrender it to them or it was laundered with the sheets. I learned my lesson not to stay in this hotel anymore. Hope this helps. Read less

Shuttle was very efficient and reliable, but only ran Monday to Thursday! Hotel was clean, and staff were friendly. Target not too far away as well as several fast food places. Free parking, but you have to register your car and display a tag in the vehicle.

Absolutely could not rate this DoubleTree enough. The hotel had everything we needed and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back again. The hotel shuttle bus to Disneyland was our primary reason for choosing this hotel and it did not disappoint. They provide available drop off and collection times, which is very useful for planning. The service was extremely friendly and reliable. Dave, Doug and Rey were all helpful and patient with us, as sometimes we had to bring forward our pick up time due to tired children. Rey in particular had our little ones in stitches and added a ‘Rey of sunshine’ to our only rainy day at the park. This direct shuttle service is an excellent perk to the hotel! The rooms were also very clean and had all the amenities provided. The water pressure was decent and it came supplied with the necessary toiletries in the room. The only small moan is that we had to collect an extra towel each day, as we were only given 3 towel for four people but that wasn’t the end of the world. There was a fridge and a safe in the room, and the hotel is in walking distance of a Target. There is also a Bar/Restaurant onsite, which was great if you returned to the hotel and didn’t want to venture out, or you could grab a Starbucks from there anytime after 6am. There was also a small convenience store in the hotel, which was very useful too! Overall, The DoubleTree was everything we wanted and more as a family. And even though it was great for us, it also remained a quiet and professional environment for others staying at the hotel! Read less

This is a very solid newly refurbished Doubletree (2023) in Buena Park pretty close to both Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland. The room size is good, lots of outlets/plugs and it has a smart TV which less common in the Hilton Brand it seems. The hotel itself has an OK restaurant attached and it can be a bit sprawling if you are in the back… Read more
This is a very solid newly refurbished Doubletree (2023) in Buena Park pretty close to both Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland. The room size is good, lots of outlets/plugs and it has a smart TV which less common in the Hilton Brand it seems. The hotel itself has an OK restaurant attached and it can be a bit sprawling if you are in the back building. The parking lot is big and doesn’t seem to fill up even during peak times. The Knott’s shuttle seems to be inconsistent with timing so I would recomend planning to Uber - it should be cheap. Service was good and the hotel was very clean. Read less
