I found the experience of staying at the Aston Waikiki Beach hotel better than I imagined it to be. The staff make that hotel a great place to be. I would definitely go again and recommend it to others. The staff phoned me to make sure I was alright. Staff were friendly and helpful. And best of all I learnt to hula dance by the swimming pool.… Read more

We stayed 5 nights at the Aston in October, 2019. This was our 2nd stay. While the hotel itself is getting a little older and could use a little updating, it's location is absolutely perfect and overrides any cosmetic flaws. The pool is great! Excellent restaurants are within walking distance, and we walked to Diamond Head and hiked to the top.… Read more

Having spent 10 days in Waikiki previously, I thought I had a good handle on the right area to be, however, after this stay in the beach walk area - I feel sorry for those not staying near here. The amount of eateries and bars close by are why you should stay at the Aston. Combine this with the Aston’s happy hours which is a wonderful opportunity to mix with other guests and enjoy pre dinner drinks and nibbles and you will agree this is the place to say. Huge rooms, no daily resort fees and a kitchenette also add to the appeal. Read less

Pretty good location, if you want to be near the beach. Lots of traffic and pedestrian tourists. Our room on floor 23 was hounded by wind noise and whistling. Room and bathroom was pretty small. Pool is pretty small. Watch for $39 daily 'resort fee' that covers drinking water by the pool and beach chairs and towels. We requested 1pm checkout… Read more
Pretty good location, if you want to be near the beach. We requested 1pm checkout (twice) and they said fine. When we returned to our room at 12:30 we could not get in, had to go back to lobby to get new cards. Checkout waiting time was 15 minutes. Read less
