Harrahs

Heavenly, Lake Tahoe

The hotel

As soon as you arrive, you’ll see the natural stone and soothing wood panelling, like a giant Alpine-style retreat. This one overlooks the picturesque Sierra mountain range and Lake Tahoe. You can even enjoy these views from the picture windows in your room which, handily, is soundproofed to make sure you get a good night’s sleep. You may need it after exploring Heavenly's trails. Plus there’s so much to do here, from gambling in the casino and taking in one of the shows, to dining in fabulous restaurants (or in the all-you-can-eat buffet if you’re really hungry!). If all that sounds far too strenuous by half, fear not. The spa treatments, steam room, heated pool and sauna are all perfect for relaxing.

The gaming was terrible, literally no tables open for most of the trip. The host told me if she had been contacted she would have advised me to cancel the trip, the question is she new I was coming and had my information, why did she not contact me. Literally no one I spoke to at the property was of any help, I even had to ask for something to do. Even the front desk clerk when I went done to leave a message for management to contact me acted like I was bothering her. The property still smelled of smoke. I literally feel like I wasted 5 days. We made reservations for Harvey's and they moved us to Harrahs. The rooms were dirty and no service for cleaning due to cover. We had to wear masks everywhere regardless if you were vaccinated or not. Hot water ran low and carpet was folding (trip hazard) Smoke detector beeped most of one morning. Had to call maintenance at 5AM

I had reservations for there on Sept 9th. I purchased travel insurance and will get a refund (my wife had a health issue last week). The fact that they are not even addressing that the entire Lake Tahoe Basin has been declared a huge health hazard. No mention of it on their website, nothing about it anywhere. Business as usual for these money… Read more

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at . The rooms were not clean , the showers didn’t work . They over charge for a room that looks like a super 8. Worst experience of my life . Save your money just go to the hard rock . Better rooms , better service . Lower rates . This hotel (Harvey’s ) is a joke . Don’t do it .
