Check in was fine.we made our way to our room and as we moved through the hotel the smell was there. Our room was very dated and tired but clean, but unfortunately there was the smell as strong as ever!! We decided to eat in the hotel as it was late,we ate in the sports bar.a small rack of ribs and fries my girlfriend had a veggie burger and fries all served in a plastic tray 1 coors light and a bottle of Bud was over $75. Is it me or is this a little bit expensive as it was basically fast food? Very disappointed with the whole experience in the Luxor. We left early due to the Corona virus, which obviously had nothing to do with the hotel. Read less

I stayed there on the last weekend of January. Even though I double checked with reception while I check out, and the receptionst said there will be refund after, they still didnt refund my deposit. There were no harms to the rooms and I confirmed it. Since they are closed due to coronavirus, I cannot reach anyone.

The Luxor is GREAT ! Always a wonderful time/night in the Luxor. It's a big Vegas styled hotel. If we returned to Vegas tomorrow, we'd definitely book their brunch again. Also, the location is perfect, close proximity to the strip and right in the heart of Vegas, walking distance to the Strip. Overall it's a NICE accommodation for the cost/price. They offer both public and private transportation on site. Get a room with a VIEW, you won't be disappointed! Read less

I never received said refund. NOR did I receive the $100 that I paid as a security for my stay--which was promised would be returned to me upon checkout.A large number of hotels have this security fee and I've never had an issue with this not being returned. Especially in times like these, this is absolutely ridiculous, and I consider it to be theft. Also... $119 full-priced total for a resort fee is outrageous considering that not all of the facilities included with that fee could be accessed at the time of my stay. I would've understood a discounted resort fee for this, but that wasn't offered or even an option. That being said, any staff member that I had interaction with (asking for directions and such) was polite and helpful, so they rocked their part. Read less

Our room on the fourth floor was pretty worn. You can tell the furniture and carpet were had better times. The beds were comfortable. The casino was not filled with party goers as other casinos are: good and bad. We didn't spend too much time in the room so it wasn't too bad. NO WIFI!!! Seems as though the building was made to prevent internet connection with your phone. Read less
