Just got back to UK after my recent trip to Vegas. I last stayed at Luxor about 10 years ago now and it was fine as me and my brother were on a budget back then. This trip i went with my mother and although for us it was fine for what we paid and as we are the type who are up early and out most of the day,for the price it was ok. However, i really did think that this hotel is now looking its age in places. We had a room in the pyramid tower - room 17060 - and as soon as i went in first time i recognized the wallpaper design in the bathroom from my previous stay close to a decade ago !! Rooms were spacious , cleaned well daily and quiet so no probs with noise for sleeping etc. For budget travelers (or though with these resort fees constantly going up & up, its not as cheap as it once was) or people who like me who are out & about and in the room very little and just really want it for somewhere to sleep its still ok i suppose. Like i said, it was alright. Would i stay here again though after 2 stays now ? Probably not, i'd pay a bit more and get a better hotel. personally i like both NYNY & Tropicana much more than here and for not that much more in room rates. Read less

Elevators suck in the pyramid- might as well take the stairs. The rooms are nice and the people are great but the elevators are whack. Also breakfast was good but was comparatively expensive for what it was. Underwhelmed for Vegas

Beds were very comfortable, room was really dirty, worn out, missing knobs of drawers, broken tiles. When checked into room, there were feces stains in toilet, called front desk and received a I’m sorry. No upgrade or vouchers, we always stay at the Luxor but will go somewhere else next time, makes me sad.

This was our second year spending our anniversary in Vegas and first time together at the Luxor. We had the chance to speak with an awesome supervisor who made sure that we were well taken care of in regards to our room. Our view breathtaking! We stayed in the Elite King Tower room which came with a coffee maker and fridge. The bath tub was one to write home about as it was as deep as a whirlpool. The decor was simple yet elegant. The lights were not very bright throughout the room, but it added to the ambiance which to us was a bonus. We wished there was more access to food during those wee hours of the morning from our room. Room service stopped quite early. Hopefully food access will increase in the future. The casino was ok, but the machines we noticed has low to no sound which for me, took away from the excitement. The servers were available with drinks while we played regularly which was great! We wished the guest stay included access to the Spa, especially during times when the pool is closed. I suffer from chronic pain and look forward to a hot tub/whirlpool when on vacation. I hope guests will have free access to these amenities in the future as a benefit included with the resort fees we pay. Also, it was a bit of a walk from the strip, but we knew this prior to the stay. We were ok for the most part with this as the Luxor is such a lovely place. The buffet at Luxor offered an excellent selection of food! Enjoyed extremely. The fact that they offer a wristband option where you can eat all day covering you for breakfast lunch and dinner is amazing! Staff overall made us feel like royalty! Will we return-YES! Luxury is something I can never get enough of on vacation. We will see you all next year!!! Read less
