The resort continues to be a great destination designed to cater to couples, families, or the business trip. The Egyptian decor throughout is detail oriented and never ceases to be interesting. The view from the corridor outside the rooms are like looking out into a small Egyptian city. We were so pleased to learn that Diablo's Cantina relocated to the Luxor (formerly located outside the Monte Carlo) Diablo's is a must eat for any one who enjoys South of the Border fare and cocktails. The food court is small and expensive. With so many restaurant choices that are comparable in price, I would skip the food court and try Rice & Co or go for a great steak at Tender Steakhouse. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, have plenty of space to move about in and are tastefully decorated. The front desk wouldn't pick up the phone, so my husband walked all the way back to the front desk, while my five-year-old and I waited in the dirty room. He explained what happened to the front desk attendant, who just seemed put out that my husband had jumped to the front of the line. He gave him another room, saying that they didn't have any other open rooms and hopefully this one is clean. My husband then came back up to the room and got us, and we all went all the way back down to get on the appropriate elevator that went to the correct floor. It was a really exhausting night and we felt like the front desk people really didn't care that they had caused us so much trouble. It was quite frustrating. Read less

the hotel is awesome. Love the fact that i could use my room key to park at other MGM properties.there was always ample parking spaces available. The my only issue I had with this property is the lack of fridge in the room.
