I was really looking forward to my stay at this hotel but unfortunately my stay was very unsatisfactory. Let me start by saying that your member status doesn’t mean anything here, I was given a suite with half updated features, one bedroom was modern and rest looked liked I was put back into the eighties, very worn out and outdated furniture. After I settle in,come to find out ac not working properly in living room and bedroom had to call guest services. One hour later still no tech , had to go back down stand in line again after I had already stood there for about 40 minutes, finally had to talk to hotel manager about my room and had tech go right away to fix ac. Then finally get to go relax with my mother play some slots, here we go while we’re playing we get this older woman named Maggie constantly harassing us about our mask , yes had a mask on mind you I’m a smoker so it seemed to me that she was just watching me smoke and waited for me to finish, then she go and harass me and my mother, I know there were others around us doing the same thing, just felt like we were constantly targeted. We were harassed so much by this woman that we didn’t even enjoy playing so decided to go have dinner, come to find out everything is closed only one restaurant was opened really like things couldn’t be worse. The next day doesn’t get better I decide to order lunch from the cafe for my family to go, it took them 45 minutes wow I guess this trip wasn’t for me too enjoy. I was comped for this but never again will I stay at this hotel. So if you want to enjoy and relax in Las Vegas don’t bother staying here and spend your money somewhere else. Oh and stay clear away from Maggie she works in the slot area by the dragon links , you’ve been warned lol . Read less

I recently stayed with the Luxor for the 2nd time and I wanted to share my experience with you. 1. We arrived in June 25 and had to wait while they found my reservation. I spent quite some time waiting. I was given 1 night of resort fees off. 2. I told them that it was me and my 16 year old daughter staying. They proceeded to put me in a room with the tub in the sleeping area. So I had to leave the room in order for my daughter to enjoy slacking in the tub. 3. The room was dirty. The tub looked like it had corrosion in it and I will attach a picture of it. 4. The room would not cool down. With temps turned over 110 and out windows facing where the sun rises, the room was roasting. 5. The first night was the only night we had hot water when we took a shower. I took multiple cold showers. I was told that I needed to run the sink and the shower if I hoped to get hot water...... 6. The smell of weed in our room from adjacent rooms was crazy on our last night. Partying from up above woke my daughter up and pulled me away from enjoying my time gambling in the casino. 7. I was made to stand in line for 45 minutes just to get a spare room key while the employees allowed others to break in line and got security to escort them to their rooms to check ID. 8. I left my number 3 times for a Front Office Manager/Director of Operations to call me and never heard anything from them. I was given the remainder of the resort fees back and a $50 F&B credit but I still Feel that with the service provided, it was not enough. I even booked an additional room to go up and take a shower and paid out of pocket for that just to get a hot shower. I stayed with the property in 2017 and had an incident that was never followed up on. The drain in my room was not attached and it caused me to slip and fall and hit my head. Maintenance came up and I was advised that the director of operations would follow up with me because of my injury. I reached out once and was told that I would receive a call back. I never heard anything. I was recovering from a brain injury at the time. I am extremely displeased with the Luxor Brand and I feel like this needs to be addressed. Read less

Now keep in mind, WE had a reservation. When we checked in we had to stand in line for way over an hour before even getting close to the front desk. They have a line of people waiting for registration that snakes back and forth across their lobby. It kind of reminds you of waiting on a ride at Disneyland. Room was located in the East Tower which is apparently the more run-down rooms. Another even longer walk to get to that room. No microwave or refrigerator in room. Only two pillows on a queen size bed. Could not get either the front desk or the bell desk to answer their phones. All in all, I would NOT stay here or recommend this hotel to anyone. Read less

Checkin wait time was 1 hour and 30 min. Remodeled rooms were nice but windows were dirty. No fridge no microwave. Queen beds only come with 2 pillows. Front desk didn’t answer phone calls. Ice machine was out of ice. Tip: checkin and checkout using MGM mobile app....or just book another hotel

I’ve stayed at the Luxor many times, most recently in January of this year, and it is always a delight. The staff is always great, food is awesome, slots are fun. Only thing, I always get some sort of suite, so I can’t say much about a normal room. Location isn’t the best on the strip, but it works just fine!
