Very polite and friendly front desk. Helpful security staff. Comfortable, quiet room and was well treated as bonvoy platinum. Easy access to shuttle, which came on time, was uncrowded, and the driver was polite, kind and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, came quickly and service was excellent. Highly recommend.

What started up turned into a disaster and no one wants to accept responsibility. Made a reservation, went to check in told it is for the next night we are sold out flight cancellations. What started up turned into a disaster and no one wants to accept responsibility. Made a reservation, went to check in told it is for the next night we are sold out flight cancellations. Livid I start to leave. Check in lady waves me back. She found a upgraded suite. I accept and pass out chocolates and Papyrus cards to all. Supervisor comes out and approves my discounted price as am now a travel agent. I ask for a breakfast coupon and told one would be slipped under the door. Asked for a wakeup call. I said 5 am, then changed it to 6 Satisfied I go to the room. Surprise no cost hangers so call Sharon as have had a pleasant stay before and she recognized my name. I asked for hangers and stated I have a bag of Hershey kisses for her and co worker when hangers are delivered. Delivery never occurred so had to lay out suit and shirt on the floor. Had to call for breakfast coupon at 3:00 am and only given a continental one. Promised a full American breakfast. Wake up alarm did not happen causing me to miss a flight. When I spoke to the front desk man he said their was no record. When shown the skimpy breakfast coupon he said I was not entitled looking at the computer. Livid I left, but since I had earlier purchased a $100.00 bottle of wine for Brian the general manager. On an earlier visit had left him a book to read on grandfather who owned Pebble Beach. Now letter from Marriott states no record of any wine or book. Investigating, Henry said the wine is sitting in his office. The book he had no knowledge of. Henry, Sharon, front check in lady, supervisor and Brian the GM won't do anything when asked for a refund. Marriott will not be the policeman either. Video will show me handing the book to a check in clerk for Brian. Last time two of the check in ladies asked me for my autograph, being Tom Hanks brother. Terrible shuttle service too. He would not let be board. I had walked out and decided to go to another hotel for service when realized the walk was too long so walked back. Seeing the shuttle pulling out I waived but the driver would not open the doors. I had to reschedule flight and did not have time to solve this on the spot. Leaving a problem unresolved is never resolved. Do not listen to the banter of exchanging email info. My case is proof. I left Brian the GM a four letter word on his answering machine. Wouldn't you? DONT USE FOR HOTEL SHUTTLE. We only used the shuttle to park. Loved how you valet the car and hop onto the shuttle. However on our way back, we waited 1.5 HOURS for a shuttle. We called multiple times and they kept saying five min. When I called and the guy said give us ten min, I explained to another family who had little kids that they are… Read more

When I called and the guy said give us ten min, I explained to another family who had little kids that they are saying ten min. in the meantime the guy over the phone said, if you’re going to talk to someone else I’m putting you on hold. He hung up on me. We ended up paying for a taxi to the shuttle thne got our car. Never again! Needs a huge improvement in customer service. Read less

We decided to use the parking at the Gateway Sheridan we dropped off the car on a Friday and took the shuttle to terminal 6 at LAX. The shuttle drop off was fine. But it was 6 am in the morning The problem occurred upon our return on Sunday evening. We were told the shuttles came every 15 minutes. We waited for an 1 hour 45 minutes with no shuttle. There were several other customers waiting for the same shuttle we made several calls asking when the shuttle would pick us up - with no solution. Finally my man had to walk to the Sheridan from terminal 6 to get the car. This was a very dangerous walk to the Sheridan LAX is not designed for Pedestrians! He basically had to play “Frogger” to navigate his way to the hotel. This was a terrible ending to our trip. We finally got our car at 12:25 am. Read less
