Meritage Resort and Spa

Napa, Napa Valley Wine Region

The hotel

You know you’ve reached wine country when you arrive at Meritage Resort & Spa. On the threshold of Napa Valley, its design may be Tuscan-inspired, but its soul is pure Napa, with views of a grapevine-covered slope as you swim, hiking (or strolling) trails through nine acres of vineyards, an underground tasting room, and wine served at every turn. But it’s also a place that recognises exceptional wine should be paired with life’s other luxuries: separate adult and family pools, al fresco fireplaces and whirlpools, lazy Sunday brunches, and wining and dining venues like award-winning Siena, the Crush bowling lounge, a café-come-gelateria, and a luxury wine bar. But it’s the Estate Cave that promises the most indulgence; 40 ft underground, it hosts a wine tasting room and Spa Terra’s steam grottos and soaking pools.

The resort is beautiful! Takes you away from daily life into the beauty of Napa, plus transports you to the feel of Italy. Very friendly & helpful staff. Extra cleanliness during Covid. Felt comfortable the whole time. Even though many services were closed due to Covid, we felt like there was enough to do and felt welcome.

beautiful property with lots of amenities, several of which were not open due to covid. During the off season, and covid they could try a little harder to make their few guests feel special, not just "in the way"

We were staying at Vino Bello Resort, but were able to reserve spa treatments at the adjacent Meritage. We visited during the pandemic and 3 of us had outdoor massages. Each one of us experienced a friendly and thorough masseuse, and a comfortable, private tent with air. Very hard working therapists. Highly recommended.
