The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

You'll feel like you're in the heart of this Romantic French capital as you dine at the top of the Eiffel Tower or wander around the Parisian boulevards, admiring the designer French boutiques. This hotel has a great central Strip location and of course, one of the best views of the unique Vegas skyline from the top of the tower, which is an amazing half-scale exact replica of the original. You can choose to stay in one of the newly remodeled Bordeaux Rooms, combining classic European elegance with a modern flair. Other Paris sights in replica include the Arc de Triomphe, Louvre façade, Paris Opera House façade and stage, Hotel de Ville and Alexander III Bridge. There are a number of French and international themed restaurants. You can dine out on the alfresco terrace eating authentic French cuisine at Mon Ami Gabi, watching the Bellagio fountains opposite and enjoying people watching on one of the world's most famous streets.

These rooms are at the Horseshoe and are a very long walk from the Paris front desk. There is absolutely no indication in the booking that you will be at Horseshoe. I was shocked, walked all the way back and was told that Paris owns Horseshoe now. I was misled, told them so and had to pay an upgrade fee to get into the real Paris property. I can’t help but believe this false marketing is intentional. Read less

Clearly this hotel is not accustomed to having guests stay more than just one night! Check-in was a disaster. 2 1/2 hours to get registered. This was a business trip so attending meetings with wet or dirty hair was less than optimal. Sad. Will NOT be staying at this hotel again in the future. Could get much better service for a whole lot less money. Read less

There wasn't any storage place below the counter. Half of the counter was used to stack up hand towels. No place for hair dryer so room service put hair dryer on the other side of the counter. - Many stains on the wall around the counter, looked like room service never paid attention to cleaning the wall. - There wasn't any wall hooks to hang clean clothes when I was taking shower. - Shower room didn't have any wall tray/place to put shampoo on. I had to put shampoo and lotions on the floor. Outside bathroom: - The room carpet was so old and so dirty with many big nasty stains. This was a huge problem. - There was a small table. On the table, there was a big tray that took half of the table area and used to advertise hotel's products (snack, drink...). We would not recommend this hotel. Read less

We stayed overnight with kids before our flight back home. Location is great and we took a strip/Bellagio view which was great. Chck-in line was terrible but was able to bypass with mobile check-in. A bit disappointed. Upgraded my room the the Versailles Tower only to find out it was a mile walk and the room was really located at the Horseshoe Casino next door. Room was nice but one whiff and could tell someone had smoked in it. Back to the registration line and after waiting an hour to get to the front was offered a “petite suite” for an extra $35 per night. Room overlooked the roofs, no view and I believe it was for disabled person. Bed needed a new mattress as it was depressed on one side AND the deadbolt did sit go into the strike plate. Also ,could hear the voices next door. Did not have the energy to go back. I even gave the registration person a $20 tip. I will never stay here again. Read less
