During the summer, the pool is FRIGID. They put a “chiller” on the pool and are so proud of it, it’s touted on their website. After our stay, I wrote a two-page letter of complaint and warning of the health risks of cold pool water, sent to the general manager and the management company and was not given the courtesy of a response from either.… Read more

After our stay, I wrote a two-page letter of complaint and warning of the health risks of cold pool water, sent to the general manager and the management company and was not given the courtesy of a response from either. Bottom line is, if you want to try to enter a pool where the water temperature is 30 to 40 degrees cooler than the ambient temperature, then this is the hotel for you. But if you don’t want your children’s lips to turn blue and quiver in the cold, then this is not the hotel for you. Read less

Been coming here for many years. Booked a king size pool side; got a double upstairs. There were multiple thefts this weekend - phones, cash etc. Super Mario Security was rude. Multiple radios blaring at the pool. NOT relaxing. Will not return

After many years, this is for me still the first choice in Palm Springs. Excellent location, cozy place, well equipped and spacious rooms. Very nice court and pool area. Very good housekeeping. It seems to me that this year the room looked somewhat brighter. Better lightning, brighter wallpaint? Whatever, I enjoyed once more my stay and am… Read more

We wanted to stay in a quiet hotel within walking distance of the downtown area, but also with a nice view of the San Jacinto mountains. We prefer quaint over modern and this hotel was perfect! It's a small hotel and the grounds were absolutely beautiful! In the area just outside of the pool you can play croquet or corn hole and several other yards games. Our room was spacious and clean with a nice patio overlooking the pool with a beautiful view of the mountains. There was a good mix of family and couples, making for a quiet environment. Even though our room was right above the hot tub, the people were quiet and out by 10pm. Each morning I walked (1 block) to Starbucks for our coffee and breakfast snacks before heading out for the day. However, they offer freshly brewed Starbucks (just not lattes, etc.) and snacks in the lobby market for a minimal cost. We were only blocks away from all the shopping and restaurants on Palm Canyon. And I can't say enough about the staff - so friendly and courteous. I was traveling with my 87 year old mother and they went out of their way to assist us with our luggage and any other needs. We will definitely be back! Read less
