Homeless everywhere. Inside of hotel is nice. Roof top pool is very small. Complimentary beverages throughout my stay from the front desk. That is definitely a nice touch. Employee's were very nice and respectful.

The room was on the 3rd floor and the street noise on a weekend is quite excessive. Recommend you use the ear plus they provide on the nightstand. Also housekeeping is by request only - important so you don't forget to get clean towels, etc... The pool area is very nice and the restaurant STK has great food. Book ahead, the host staff is not very accommodating for last minute requests. Read less

Kiyomi and Deborah are amazing. They have the best customer service and made me feel very special. They gave me champagne for my bday and the room was awesome. It’s the cabana room and it’s two stories. The room on the bottom and cabana up too by the pool. It was really cool to have this experience

Unfortunately our hotel is next to a homeless camp, which I can understand people undergoing a very rough time. But, on our way walking, there was substantial drug use, which could present a troubling situation. On the other side of hotel, it gets less seedy, and we learned that quick. Be careful. There are some better places in the same price point that may be safer (closer in the heart of the Gaslamp). We were also booked by loud dogs that were next to us. It’s hard to fault the dogs, but it is important to know dogs are in the hotel. Read less

This Andaz location wasn’t as impressive as others I’ve been to. The room was small, parking is obnoxious, the surrounding area is sketchy, restaurant and room service don’t stay open late, customer service was average.
