420 rooms and suites. All with 47" flat-screen TV, satellite TV, WiFi*, video games, iPod/MP3 doc, wall mounted rain showers in bathrooms, complimentary Fender (on request). Studio Rooms with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

The entire staff was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to accommodate everyone! It was a great location, right on the entrance to the gaslamp district and only one block to the trolley. There were tons of restaurants to choose from, all we visited were excellent!

The hotel itself is in a convenient area near the Convention Center and Gaslamp bars/restaurants. The hotel has a meandering, not well thought out configuration. Our room was not ready until almost 4pm. My event in the Hard Rock started at 4:30, limiting time to get ready. Room was OK, clocks were not reset for daylih=ght savings time and parking… Read more

The room was very sparse and cold. It had a good mini bar and open feel. The bathroom is splint between a toilet area and a shower area. The toilet area has a white glass door that you can hear anything through. So if you are shy in the bathroom department I would NOT recommend this hotel. Great overall experience. Hard Rock is located close to everything. Lots of options for food and drinks. Staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely book here again. Can’t wait for a reason to make the trip south again

as always, the hard rock hotels are very nice, and above par. However, this hotel has yet to be technologically upgraded, there are no USB parts whatsoever. So plan accordingly. Also, if you plan on doing any in room, dining, late at night, anticipate a long wait, unfortunately.
