Enjoyed a great stay. The staff were all great, the views were wonderful, and the restaurants were great. Truly a full service hotel with multiple restaurants, gift shop and family activities. The room was very clean and up to date. The bed was amazing.

We ad an easy check-in. The parking was expenditure nice to Valet. The pool area was nice and we enjoyed the beautiful view. We even rented a sailboat and tried sailing for the first time which was really fun!

We've been a huge Hyatt fan over the years. Especially the one in Huntington Beach. We booked our week long stay in San Diego at this Hyatt. What a huge disappointment! First off, a shout out to the Bell staff (Duane) who went above and beyond each time. That's about the only positive during our trip. The room service is none existent (it's like uber eats but way more pricey). Coffee in room tasted like tar and no creamer but little packets of something that was so stale that we threw it out the first day. You can get coffee (Starbucks) at the Market but it's a hike from your room. Do not plan on eating at the Pelican Bay pool bar/grill. 3 of us ate snacks and no alcohol and our bill was $165. My husband's grill cheese had a thin slice of cheese and stale bread. My son's wings were drenched in sauce, probably hiding the horrible taste. The waitress couldn't remember my son's water and we had to ask 3 times for a bottle of water ($10). The jacuzzi has a posted rule of 16 in it at a time. Each time we tried to venture to the jacuzzi it was packed with small children and at least 20 adults...you couldn't even get in it. The pool water was freezing which is odd because they say it's heated. Not true. Housekeeping doesn't like making up beds or replinshing toiletries. We had to beg for an extra pillow for the pull out sleeper which is bumpy, hard and dare I say rarely cleaned. Overall not a great experience and certainly doesn't meet the Hyatt standard we've grown accustomed to receiving. Read less

The concierge was exceptional. I was concerned the beds were too soft but I haven't felt that good upon waking for a long time. Unfortunately, I was under the impression that the price we had through the booking agent was what it would cost us. I don't like but do understand the additional parking charge, but the resort fee was over the top.
