We just wanted to get away for my birthday weekend, so decided to get a hotel downtown. We chose the Olive 8 because it had a great deal on the price, looked like it would accommodate a gracious layout for us and our daughter, and had a pool. The check-in was probably the nicest I've ever had. The woman who checked us in made sure we had everything, and when she realized we were just local there for a birthday getaway, she generously gave us a treat for the restaurant/bar. When my daughter expressed excitement to visit the pool, she even excitedly went to get a little floaty toy for her to have. The room was bigger and nicer then we even expected. (photos can be deceiving.) Everything was comfortable, and we had easy access to the downtown areas we wanted to visit. Read less

Very clean hotel, the water dispenser in the lobby is a simple way to explain how good they have thought this through. Very clean hotel and the pool and hot tub was good. Would be good if we can use the hotel credits on the bagel shop too.

Beds are comfy, rooms clean and very nice and the Spa is amazing!!! Steam room and sauna were an unexpected bonus!! Easy check in and check out!! Great location to link rail and all down town activities and sites!

The Hyatt Olive 8 is a solid, comfortable hotel located near the convention center and downtown of Seattle. The highlight of the hotel is its pool: large, comfortable, and well-lit, it is a delight to spend time there. The hotel also offers a well equipped gym, dry sauna, and steam room. Rooms themselves are comfortable, although starting to show their age. Breakfast offerings are primarily bagels and continental items, although Globalists are offered access to the buffet at the nearby Regency which is a nice perk. All in all a solid choice with a convenient location and comfortable rooms. Read less

Really love staying here when we are in Seattle. It's a great location and the family enjoys the pool area. Beds are comfortable and room is very clean. We used the valet parking and it worked out great for us.
