Beautiful hotel at a perfect location in downtown Seattle. It is situated right next to Pike Place Market and hence offers lot of dining options. It's walking distance from the shopping stores like Nordstorm, Rack, Walgreens, Target, Ross etc. It also is at a walking distance from an Indian Restaurant.

The lobby was stunning and it had a warm feeling to it. Room service and house cleaning was prompt when requested. The one complaint we had was that we were able to hear people in the room next to us and could faintly smell marijuana coming from their side. This lasted for less than 2 days but it was disappointing. Read less

Centrally located boutique hotel; we appreciated the unique decor and generally above average service. The complementary coffee in the morning is a nice touch, but the staff was unable to keep up with the demand. The complementary coffee in the morning is a nice touch, but the staff was unable to keep up with the demand. Over the course of our two day stay, we went downstairs for coffee on 4 occasions before 10am, and it was only available once. And one time there were no cups or cream either. Outlier restaurant in the hotel used to have many unique menu items. Now its an ordinary menu of average quality. Housekeeping staff needs to be reminded not to scream down the hallway to their co-worker, especially early Sunday morning when some guests got in late after a night of partying! Please--quiet, indoor voices. Read less

I think this must be the 5th time I've stayed in this hotel. We came to see a baseball game, and the location is great for access to the stadium and pretty much anyplace downtown. Although it has been many years since they renovated, the rooms are still looking good. I read that they are due to get a renovation next year, but seriously, the rooms… Read more

Although it has been many years since they renovated, the rooms are still looking good. I read that they are due to get a renovation next year, but seriously, the rooms are still clean, stylish, and very comfortable. We were upgraded and given a mini suite with a welcome gift due to my IHG status (and perhaps repeat business? I'm not sure, but it was much appreciated!). Thanks to all of the friendly desk service agents and concierge, Leanne, for a fabulous stay. Read less

I stayed overnight at the Hotel Monaco for an overnight to see a concert in Seattle, and I was very pleased with my experience. From arrival to departure, the experience was easy to navigate and met or exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, valet parking was easy, and checkin was very quick. I was in room 901, which was quite spacious, though it is against the back of the service elevator - which didn't bother us very much, especially at night when we slept with ear plugs. When we walked into the room - the first thought was - this is much bigger than expected for a downtown hotel!!! The room was quite spacious! The bathroom was well appointed - the bathtub was HUGE. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. And, there was a little welcome gift in the room, which made the stay all the better (likely because of my IHG status). One thing to note - this room, and I suspect many of the rooms, have no view to speak of, and little natural light. This didn't bother us, as we weren't in the room during the day, but it's worth noting. There is a restaurant in the hotel, which was - meh - but it got the job done. We asked about room delivery, which wasn't available, so we did pick up.The food we ordered was OK and very quick to pick up, but kind of what you'd expect from hotel food. We had a burger and a pizza. All in all, a great stay at this Kimpton property! I would definitely stay here again if passing through Seattle for an evening or two! Read less
