203 guestrooms across 27 floors, all featuring an eclectic art collection and vintage design details, along with air conditioning, safe, hairdryer, handheld steamer, organic bath products, TV. and complimentary WiFi access.Cozy Rooms are smaller in size with one queen-size bed sleeping maximum 2 people. 


Two twin beds or two queen-size beds can be requested at an extra cost

Spacious rooms are larger in size with views of Hudson Yards or the Theatre District, with either 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults. 

2nd Floor Lounge (open for breakfast daily, and features a full cocktail bar open Thursday – Saturday evenings). Rosevale Kitchen and Cocktail Room (elevated American dining – opening soon). Starchild (rooftop lounge serving drinks and light bites – opening soon). 

TMPL Health Club* with gym, salt water pool, steam room and sauna located just one block north of the hotel.

Traveling with my adult daughter with disabilities, they provided comfortable accommodations to meet her needs. The unique decor makes Civilian a delight to explore. Each floor, and seemingly room, brings a new surprise. Broadway and showbiz photos & memorabilia; exceptional views from the Starchild roof top bar. This was the best experience I have had in New York to date. This was my first time at the Civilian Hotel and it was great! I really loved the decor of the room and attention to detail that was placed on everything. My bed was comfortable and the room was cozy and warm. Lighting was exceptional and design and layout were great. The hotel was very warm and inviting and not sterile and museum-like compared to other places I have stayed. The upstairs bar and hotel were so much fun that my friends came back to my hotel to congregate. I look forward to going back to New York again this Fall and I will definitely be staying at the Civilian Hotel. Read less

Had a great stay! The room views were amazing and the room was so comfy. The rooftop Starchild is beautiful & they also have a restaurant Rosevale located in the hotel. The staff was kind and helpful. The location is perfect & minutes from Times Square.
