Faena Hotel Miami Beach

Miami Beach, Miami

Virgin rating

The hotel

Daring to be different, yet featuring enough deco-detailing to make the grade in Miami, this five star retreat may be all cool white and slick lines on the outside, but inside it’s filled with sumptuous velvety reds, glitzy golds, and warm woods and leather: nowhere more so than in its very own theatre, an opulent cabaret venue with a nod to the grand old opera houses of Europe’s capitals. The dining’s just as decadent, ranging from the modern Asian creations of master chef Paul Qui, in the ocean view Pao restaurant, to the live-fire Argentine cooking of renowned South American chef Francis Mallman, at Los Fuegos. They’ve even thrown in a sand-skirting location on Miami Beach, a luxury spa, and an oceanfront pool and sunbathing deck.

It was his birthday and I usually have my travel agent handle these sort of things but I was fortunate to have gotten Raul the supervisor and he made the process seamless and easy! It was the perfect way to start his special day and he even had arranged a birthday cake! Thank you Raul so much for your help. Read less

We went to the Sunday Asado with my wife. First of all, Eric Bird the doorman, always greeted us with a genuine smile and cool tips on what to do, where to shop, and eat. Cool guy to know during your stay. He set the tone. Next your going to love the Great Gatsby art deco vibe. They definitely captured classic Sinatra Era Miami. The breath taking lobby with the old world atlas animal montage was beautiful. The gold plated wholy mammoth exhibit was so damn instagrammable! Service was on point. It had a very intimate approach. You truly felt like a guest. The pool is classic 50's style. The party we went to in the "living room" on Friday night was too fun. Think 70's studio 54 meets cool speak easy in Europe with a bit of funk. Unique and cool is how I would describe this place. Will definitely be back to explore more!! Read less

The staff was incredibly kind, accommodating, professional, and always went above and beyond - everyone was just delightful. Rooms are excellent, bar is a vibe and seems to only be exclusive to guests, pool and spa could not be faulted, restaurant phenomenal, decoration unmatched! We will definitely be back.
