The hotel

Harrah’s is the ultimate day and night party destination. Its nightclub, Carnaval Court, is an open-air street party along The Strip, with live bands, DJs and flair bartenders keeping you entertained under the sun and stars. If you need a change of scene, Numb serves up frozen cocktails while The Piano Bar serves up duelling pianos and karaoke. True to its location, Harrah’s also delivers an award-winning Elvis act, The Righteous Brothers: Bill Medley & Bucky Heard and longtime Vegas magician Mac King. And, alongside fine dining and casual eats, it brings you Fulton Street Food Hall, a 24-hour food court with a difference – all about quality food created by expert chefs, from sushi to create-your-own pizza, frozen yoghurt, and ‘comfort food’ stations.

Upon arrival the 1st drum I got was completely disgusting it was not clean. I also paid $60 to check in early and expect it to be a one due to detect that paid extra money. When I received a second room it was also not completely a 100% clean and smell like smoke. Both rooms should have been smoke free but you can definitely tell someone that… Read more

When I received a second room it was also not completely a 100% clean and smell like smoke. Both rooms should have been smoke free but you can definitely tell someone that smoked in a. The 2nd room also smelled OK when checking in but as time went by it's like someone is peed in corners. Due to the smoke smell it was completely horrible to try to sleep in the room but we gave it a shot because we were tired to do it for like taking a third chance on another room. Rooms definitely need to be worked all it comes to being clean. Read less

So I read the reviews of this hotel before I went and was really kind of scared to stay there. I know a lot of people had bad experiences and I can actually see why. So I read the reviews of this hotel before I went and was really kind of scared to stay there. I know a lot of people had bad experiences and I can actually see why. Rule #1: you get what you pay for. Expect the $45/night resort fee, folks — it’s charged at EVERY hotel on the strip. Add that to their advertised price and that’s what you pay for. The clientele are low-to-middle class, mostly blue collar folks. So if you want ritzy, stay at the Wynn or another nice place and pay those prices. But here, it’s smoky but decent. I’m unemployed right now and needed a cheap place to stay - it was @ $17 per night(!) My nephew has an Amex so he was able to book me to their VIP checkin and Andrè was superb (their normal checkin line was long so this was great to bypass it). She asked if I wanted to upgrade to a suite and I did for $70/night (keep in mind that Amex waived the resort fee if you have their card and book thru their travel website). When I got to my suite, it reeked of smoke so I went down to tell her and she immediately put me on the top floor in a beautiful suite that smelled and looked new. It was nice, especially for $70/night. People complained about the shower being so open and water getting everywhere. Well, if you’re a fat cow or pig, it’s easy to see why you’d clumsily splash all over the floor. But just put the bathmat down and you’ll be absolutely fine. The room was very nice and the bathroom was great. I slept very well in their king bed and enjoyed my stay. Just know that you get what you pay for. You may want to stay at the Palazzo or Venetian or one of the nicer places if you want nice. Just set your expectations. Overall I enjoyed my stay but I’m not sure if I’d stay there again just due to the smoke smell in the hotel. Read less

Apparently you have to be at a certain tier for free parking, again something that wasn't shown anywhere or explained. This was very disappointing after a very good stay. Read less

My girlfriend and I got a fantastic high-rise room facing the Strip and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything about Harrah's is perfect. Having regard to the quality of what you're getting here, and the location, the room-rates really should be higher. I thoroughly recommend Harrah's. You will love this Casino/Hotel. Make sure to request a high-rise room facing the Strip. These rooms have a phenomenonal view of the Strip! Have a great day! Read less
