Hilton Toronto

Toronto, Canada

The hotel

Hilton Toronto is seriously well-connected — it’s attached to the city’s popular PATH walkway, an underground labyrinth linking you to top downtown sights and forming the world’s largest subterranean shopping venue. If PATH’s 1,200-plus stores don’t satisfy your retail urges, you’re also an above-ground walk from hundreds of shops at Eaton Centre, along with that Toronto tourist must, CN Tower. They haven’t rested on their ‘location’ laurels here though: Hilton have made sure there’s plenty to return to after exploring, with a fitness room, indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, and spacious modern guestrooms (some with complimentary Continental breakfast thrown in). If you’re just returning for dinner, you’ve got the steakhouse’s prime Midwestern beef and Tundra Restaurant’s Canadian styling and global dining to pick from — each chased with a cheeky post-dinner coffee from the hotel’s own branch of Starbucks®.

The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating, the room was absolutely spotless and the hotel location is ideal! There are plenty of places to walk during our down time. We definitely plan to stay there again for our future trips into the city…

Must say the heated rooftop pool was what lured me to book with Hilton. And the pool did not disappoint. I didn't realize you had to book a spot and luckily I got in just in time. Sad there was no room service, but I understood. Thanks to Ubereats it was a quick fix. Room was clean and the bed is EXTREMELY comfortable. I will definitely rebook when I need to stay downtown again. Read less

Great location. Very disappointed to arrive after a flight from London. The valets out front gave the first view of the hotel, uninterested! The lobby is quite dark and looked even darker waiting in line for the only receptionist. Finally a second one arrived and suggested giving me a better one as the one I self picked was one of the old rooms. That must have been the reason my digital key did not arrive before arrival. Hotel seemed tired, staff seemed weary, other than Kevin in the breakfast room who at least had a smile on his face. Surprisingly the lobby bar was closed on the Saturday afternoon when I went back with a colleague so he suggested that we tried his hotel, the Fairmont, which had an amazing lobby bar, but that is for another review.
