As chic as it is bohemian, Triton is one of the trendiest hotels in San Francisco. With a style all of its own, including suites designed by celebrities and art exhibits often hosted by the artists themselves, it’s one of those hotels you’re proud to ‘drop into conversation’ when you get home. The Triton team say it’s like staying with a fashionable friend who lives right by Union Square and Chinatown. With a Bag Butler to pick up your shopping from Union Square’s boutiques, an organic snack bar in your room, in-room spa treatments, and a wine social hour each evening, we think it’s probably better.

Lights turn off automatically with no recourse

The lights turn off after 10 minutes. I was constantly interrupted by the lights turning off while eating, video calling, and showering. It’s a huge safety hazard to have lights turn off while showering.
The bed was pretty comfortable along with the pillows and linens.
Excellent staff

We're so glad we chose to stay at Hotel Triton, the location was excellent outside of Chinatown and only a 30 minute walk from most attractions if you don't mind some hills!

Jay and Miranda were both so helpful at the front desk. Lovely people. Late 2pm check-out was $30 and the hotel was able to hold our bags even after that to let us make the most of our stay.
The rooms are a bit dated, but unique in a cute, kitchey way. What matters is the bed is comfortable, the room had a good climate control and the room amenities were lovely. Loved the pre mixed Margherita, clean bathroom and variety of pillows.
It was the staff who really made this stay worthwhile. Thank you again to Jay and Miranda.

Great hotel, nice location right next to Chinatown and a short walk to Union Square and all the shops, lovely staff, they were super helpful! We needed a wheelchair room and it was excellent, big shower and lots of room. Love the happy hour and that there’s continental breakfast provided. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is amazing! When we walked in, they were in the middle of their complimentary daily happy hour so everyone was hanging out together in the lobby enjoying the night. Beyond the fun happy hour and amazing interior design of the hotel, it’s people like Jay, Sophie, and Heleina who make this place special. Before we arrived, I spoke with Sophie on the phone who gave us clear and helpful directions and guided us on navigating the valet service successfully. When we arrived, Jay made us feel at home and went out of his way to make our stay special. We were blown away by his customer service and hospitality. Then of course Heleina- we were downtown exploring, but needed to rush back to the hotel to make it in time for our flight. By the time we got back to the hotel, she already had the valet service park our car at the front door and had our bags in the car ready to go so we didn’t need to do a single thing before our flight. We will definitely be staying here again! Perfect location, super safe and great fun!

Were happy that Danica was there to welcome us.

I called to reserve my room and I talked to Danica, she was friendly and accomodating. When we arrived in the hotel she visited us in our room and make some little chit chat. She was a nice and lovely lady. Hopefully we can visit her again. We were glad that we talked to Danica.
