Hotel Triton

Union Square, San Francisco

The hotel

As chic as it is bohemian, Triton is one of the trendiest hotels in San Francisco. With a style all of its own, including suites designed by celebrities and art exhibits often hosted by the artists themselves, it’s one of those hotels you’re proud to ‘drop into conversation’ when you get home. The Triton team say it’s like staying with a fashionable friend who lives right by Union Square and Chinatown. With a Bag Butler to pick up your shopping from Union Square’s boutiques, an organic snack bar in your room, in-room spa treatments, and a wine social hour each evening, we think it’s probably better.

We really enjoyed having the wine in the afternoon. They have good coffee too compared to other continental breakfast hotels we’ve had. With that being said, we would’ve loved some parties maybe added to the coffee and tea in the mornings! With that being said, we would’ve loved some parties maybe added to the coffee and tea in the mornings! The rooms are San Francisco size and a little tiny but still cozy and the rooms are clean and the lobby smells really nice. Front desk people were very accommodating. Eddie gave us a run down on great places to eat around the area and gave us a map and marked things for us to see. Thanks for that! Other than the rainy weather, overall really nice visit. Read less

My sister and I were very pleased with our stay at Hotel Triton. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of many SF attractions, namely China Town! The lobby is instagrammable! The rooms are cozy and the staff were very warm and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel!

Interesting lobby designs and the fortune cookies were a nice touch. The umbrellas they let us borrow during the rain was clutch! The king bed is very firm but smaller rooms but still very comfortable. You can’t beat the location, it was so close to everything. Coming back to wine hour in the afternoons was really nice. Eddie at the front desk provided really good tips on how to get around San Fran and he was super friendly to everyone at check in. All the staff we encountered was really friendly. Will definitely recommend to our friends! Read less

As a frequent traveler just coming back from Hawaii myself - I felt safe at Hotel Triton. The rooms and facility are clean and it looks like they’re following good Covid protocols. Gotta be carefully specially with new variants. Had a really good time in San Francisco and Eddy at the front desk was great when showing us things to do in the city.… Read more

It is a good hotel with a helpful staff, complimentary happy hour, and it’s in a great location. It’s really close to Chinatown and pretty close to the cable car line that takes you to North Beach and Fisherman’s Wharf.
