Hyatt Regency Vancouver

Vancouver, Canada

The hotel

Very Vancouver, this downtown delight brings the city’s signature cool styling, upscale-yet-casual lifestyle, and modern dining scene to your door. It might be stylish and spacious — and have free WiFi on tap — but you won’t want to spend much time in your guestroom — not when your feature-filled hotel has distractions like a gym, Life Luxe Spa, and al fresco sun deck with heated pool and hot tub. Giving you a true taste of British Columbia, Hyatt Regency Vancouver’s bars and restaurants feature fresh regional produce, sustainable seafood, local microbrews, home-grown wines, and artisanal cocktails, as well as the less-local Starbucks® for that pre- and post-sightseeing caffeine fix. The location’s very Vancouver too — eating out, shopping, and sightseeing are effortless with downtown favourite Robson Street just blocks away, and Stanley Park’s beaches, cycling, and totem poles a leisurely stroll.

Paid for a 2 Double bed room for 4 nights but was notified they overbooked and put us in a King bed room and provided a thin single mattress on the floor for part of the 4 night stay. Location is great with lots of traffic but for the outdated bathrooms and rooms you can do better in downtown Van.

The hotel is centrally located in downtown Vancouver. Many desirable areas and attractions around Vancouver are within short walking distance or a short bus ride away. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast buffet in its Mosaic Grill restaurant in lieu of lounge access. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay there… Read more

We stayed two nights at the Hyatt in Vancouver. We were upgraded to a high floor. The room was immaculate and very quiet. There was a large screen TV and a very nice rain shower. The view was excellent. All of the people at the hotel were very professional, courteous and personable.

Staff is welcoming and polite, room comfortable, clean and spacious. We weren’t able to eat in the restaurant this time, but the menu looked like the food would be great. There was a long line for brunch!

My wife and I specifically booked a room with 2 beds because our “2 month old” baby sleeps on her own bed. They even asked me if i want to cancel our room at 4:30pm with our baby crying and my wife and I tired from a long day trip. Do… Read more
