The hotel

Even the most dedicated urban nomad sometimes needs a place to escape LA – and that’s where Le Parc at Melrose comes in. Squirreled away in a residential road in cool West Hollywood (WeHo to those in the know), this high-design hotel is the perfect sanctuary between sightseeing, shopping, and nights at nearby ‘name-dropping’ haunts like The Viper Room and the Roxy. Every room here’s a suite – and Le Parc at Melrose are ones you’ll never want to leave thanks to the balcony, lounge, kitchenette, fireplace, and complimentary WiFi that comes as standard. (And, because you can order up farm-to-fork favourites from Knoll, the hotel’s upscale bistro, you don’t have to leave it.) If you do want a reminder of the city outside, you can always head up to the Skydeck, with its heated rooftop pool, cabanas, and metropolis-skimming views.

We often ate at the restaurant or had the restaurant food in our suite, which had a comfortable dining table. I spent a bunch of time relaxing at the rooftop bar area and my daughter and grandson enjoyed swimming in the rooftop pool. The rooftop tennis/pickleball courts were a nice bonus. The neighborhood was lovely with great places to dine and shop. I highly recommend Le Parc. We couldn’t have been happier. Read less

Loved our room, the little kitchenette could really come in handy for some travelers, and we loved having a fireplace in the room. We went up to the rooftop one evening before going to a show and had a few drinks, great view and very cute. This was our first stay out in Los Angeles and would definitely stay here again. Read less

They were so helpful and kind, I literally asked for the trip advisor page so i could leave a review. I never leave reviews but i just felt so welcomed and taken care of here. Everything was done so kindly and flawlessly. Nicest staff ever. I travel twice a week for work and this was just plain lovely. Other reasons I’d come back: enormous rooms. Thoughtful amenities like SPF 30 available poolside (free) and endless snacks and bottles of water. The location is excellent. You really can’t beat this hotel. It’s clearly a little older but that’s also why it’s such a deal. It really beats a sterile megahotel. Read less
