I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It's perfectly located, the staff was helpful, and if I wanted, I could have stayed at the hotel without ever venturing out and had a perfectly wonderful time. It's Boston and we did venture out and a lot of the sites were within walking distance which was also a plus.

The lobby was gorgeous, as was the classic room with a view. We especially appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, particularly Craig in the gift and coffee shop. He had excellent food and destination recommendations, and greeted us every morning. The hotel is centrally located to everything Boston has to offer, and very safe! Loved it!

I have stayed at the Parker House many times over the last twenty years. It’s a special place, steeped in history with a long tenured and caring, attentive staff - from the front desk to the valet. With that said, the hotel as it stands right now is not living up to its reputation. While noted on the website, it’s sad to see none of their storied restaurants in operation several days a week. There is no room service and plastic cups only in the room. It’s more like a motel than an elegant hotel right now with good bones. While the staff was responsive to our issues - including a view of trash outside the window - the whole experience is diluted and a bit sad. I will also note prices remain comparable to pre pandemic. I understand the pandemic has hit hospitality hard, but I have traveled quite a bit in the last year and comparable companies including Marriott, Auberge, and Hyatt have managed to provide a much better experience with far more services and standard amenities that the Parker House currently lacks. Image of the Tripadvisor rating Historic hotel that offers little to no amenities, outdated rooms that will nickel and dime you

The Omni Parker House clings to it's "historical value" and good location and offers near to nothing else. The Omni Parker House clings to it's "historical value" and good location and offers near to nothing else. This hotel will try and nickel-and-dime you and offers fewer amenities in it's rooms than a Motel 6. I first checked in to the hotel with my wife after booking with Hotel Tonight, payed my 55$ Valet fee and was given my room. The room they ended up giving to me was the size of a large walk in closet with a single full sized bed. I did not want to stay in what used to probably be servant quarters and I immediately called the front desk asking for a room with a king sized bed. I was told it would be a 30$ upgrade fee, but given that there was 2 of us I just went with it. HotelTonight customer service ended up calling the hotel and refunding me, which was nice of HotelTonight. I realized that evening that there was no microwave in the room and called the front desk to see if I could get a microwave and they told me that would be a 20$ charge to have that delivered to my room. I said a quick no and asked for the mini-fridge included in the (yes another) 20$ "travel" fee that I had to pay at check-in to be delivered up to my room and a bell boy came up with it 15 minutes later. The 20$ "travel fee" included, use of the gym, "complementary" water bottles at the front desk and "deluxe wifi" which is limited at 7mb speeds and you have to pay another 15$ fee for highspeed wifi. Unless you're obsessed with historical value DO NOT stay at this hotel. The rooms are nothing near 4-star quality and this hotel will strip you of any spare dollars you have if you want your stay to be anywhere near adequate for the year 2021. Read less
