Perfect location in the heart of the French Quarter. Every member of the staff was willing and more than capable of offering assistance and advice beyond simply pushing the hotel's offerings. The Bourbon Street balcony put you right in the middle of the action while feeling perfectly safe.

Went to NOLA to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. Splurged and got right on Bourbon Street. Upgraded to a Bourbon Street balcony room. Got to our room and it was not facing Bourbon Street but facing the bottom of a stairwell where cleaning supplies for the pool are stored. I went to the front desk and the clerk was very kind and apologetic but unable to change the room as they were sold out. Okay, fine it's not going to ruin our trip. However, I got my bill and was charged the premium rate. I have called several times to have the charges changed but have been unable to get a return phone call from the "accounting department". The room was average, nothing special. $600 a night gets you the prime location of a hotel located on Bourbon Street. The hotel staff is nice, my beef is with accounting which is something out of their control. The 2 hotel bars are great for a night cap. Read less
