Hotel was under construction during our visit with only the bottom 3 floors open. We prepaid through Costco for 2 nights and booked 1 additional night through Expedia. Not disclosed to us was the fact that they offered no breakfast and had no gym during this time. Construction was supposed to be completed a week before our stay but it was not and we were not notified of this fact. I spoke with the GM Luis on check in and he confirmed this with me. Luis said that since we had prepaid through Costco there was nothing he could do for those nights. He did lower our room rate the first night to market rate (about ~80 in savings). The rooms and hotel are very old and brown. The "comforter" they provided on the king size bed is little more than an additional sheet. The TV doesn't work and they give you a sheet at check in warning you of this. Ours cut out every 4-5 seconds making it unwatchable. They also overcharged my fiancé's card, somehow unaware that we had prepaid through Costco. We ended up with almost $1500 over 4 charges for what should have been 1 charge for $209. When we called about this they assured us the additional charges were just holds and would drop off. Then they actually posted. We called again about this and Esperanza the lady at the front desk and attempted to explain what happen, but all she did was escalate the situation. When I said I would be calling corporate she refused to give me her name and put me on hold for 10 minutes before someone else answered. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Irving the other front desk employee that works there is cool. He should probably be the GM. I called corporate and after they opened a case and took in all my information they escalated me to a "manager" who told me this was Expedia and Costco's fault, which I find laughable because the hotel had already said it was there fault on checkout and they would be reversing the charges. Another thing this hotel tried to do was not speak with me because the reservation was in my fiancé's name. This was extremely frustrating for both of us as she was on speaker phone with me and we both stayed in the hotel and share the same bank account. We verified everything including the last 4 digits on the card. It was little more than an attempt to further escalate/dismiss us. The hot tub was fine. We spoke to a few other couples staying at the Sheraton in the hot tub and I suspect they left the bottom 3 floors open to take advantage of these full price Costco reservations that are included with the Disney package. Everyone else we spoke with had also booked through Costco. I don't believe Costco is aware of the condition of the hotel. I won't be staying at a Marriott property again and based on my experience I suggest you consider the same. Read less

Our family was fleeing fires in OC stayed a night. This hotel was one of the FIRST hotels offering evac discounts for families with pets. They could’ve taken advantage of us but showed compassion when we needed it most. Also made it easy to reserve a room and were so welcoming. Thank you!

We booked our room on HotelTonight and on hotel tonight it says "Pets OK under 40 lbs, no fee." I included a picture. So we stayed in the hotel from 08/02-08/03 and we brought our dogs. We arrived home today to find that our card has a pending charge for the dogs. I called the hotel on 08/03 and spoke to Violet (who claimed she was the… Read more

We arrived home today to find that our card has a pending charge for the dogs. I called the hotel on 08/03 and spoke to Violet (who claimed she was the manager) and she refused to help me in anyway and just told me I had to call HotelTonight. It is not my job as a customer to police websites for these large chains. They have IT departments that can do that kind of work. As soon as the charges actually post on my CC I will be disputing them. Furthermore the room I stayed in 809 had some kind of burns and inkstains (blood??? IDK) on the carpet. When we checked out at 12 the hallway we walked out into smelled like sewage. We will put up with a lot from a hotel when we can bring our pets, but since these rooms are apparently only meant to be occupied by humans good God get your act together. We stayed at a LaQuinta the night before (Which allows pets) and our room didn't look and smell like we were next to a sewage facility. I would also think that with the current situation you would try and take care of the few guests you have instead of screwing them over. So over the next 6 months to a year while this pandemic is still going on and your company is hemorrhaging money, Ill make sure from now on you wont be getting any of mine. Read less

Then I tried to use the pool and it hey said that we could not because of COVID-19, no problem with that. We get there and there’s at least 5 hillbillies, drinking vodka in the pool, smoking, flashing their breasts, swearing and harassing the other women who were not in their party including my girlfriend. And I told the manager who raced out there. He Talked to them and they just kept doing it louder and more frequent so we just left. Then the AC did not work. Never stay here again. Nasty nasty place. Not worth it. Spend your money somewhere else. Paying more is better than being ripped off at this place. Fact I’ll never stay at a Sheridan again. I feel so disrespected. I wish I could give it -5 stars. Read less

Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again. I felt it did not meet the standards of a Sheraton. Read less
