The Dominick

Soho and Tribeca, New York

The hotel

Big by SoHo standards, the 46 story hotel offers views, a very happening bar scene, a spa and great dining, so posing the dilemma, to stay in or to go out? Three words distinguish the 391 rooms and suites. Space. Glass. And Fendi. An average of 500 square feet guestrooms offer a lot of space and all the rooms have floor to ceiling windows. They are also the first rooms in Manhattan to have been furnished by Fendi, better known for their handbags. Bar d’Eau, as the name suggests, is on the water. i.e. on the hotel’s 6000 square foot rooftop pool deck, boasting inspiring views of the city's skyline. If that's not enough, there is also The Spa which has indoor and outdoor relaxation lounges, luxury treatments and Manhattan's first traditional Turkish Hammam.

I could talk to you about subtle things like linen and towel replacement, or the fact that the doorman brought me my UberEats order without being asked. When I needed a bag to hold some loose papers, your waiter in the mezzanine restaurant never hesitated and took care of it. When I needed a bag to hold some loose papers, your waiter in the mezzanine restaurant never hesitated and took care of it. I can tell you about the tone of voice your staff used or how they made sure that no problem was out of their scope. I loved your restaurant but the in room dining came at perfect temp and the waiter was just lovely. I don’t think I can stay anywhere else in Manhattan and you have absolutely ruined me. Read less

My husband and I had such a great experience at the Dominick for a night away from the kids. The service was timely and excellent and whatever we needed was delivered immediately. We also enjoyed a spa treatment which was so nice. Walking distance to tons of amazing shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

We had a room on the 27 floor overlooking the river. Clear view all the way to NY. Amazing views. Room was plenty spacious for my wife and I. The only challenge was the bathroom. Only 1 sink, but a large jacuzzi tub. I'd trade the tub for another sink. Staff was excellent. Location was ideal to walk to restaurants, shopping, mass transit. Perfect access to the tunnel if you plan to venture off the island. Read less

Really nice view an an accommodating front desk that offered some creative solutions. (We wanted to have a romantic bubble bath so they brought up extra shower gel for us to use). We were a bit nervous about Omicron, so we opted to go with room service instead of the on site restaurant and all the food was delicious. We'll definitely have the Dominick in mind for future staycations! Read less
