The LINQ Hotel + Experience

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Well-connected, the name lets slip the hotel’s ‘link’ to extra food, fun and frivolity. The guestrooms are hip and high-tech, but you won’t be there much with the LINQ’s endless diversions. The centrepiece is the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel, at 550-ft high it takes 30 minutes to do the full loop. You’re also ‘linked’ to an exclusive shopping, entertainment and dining promenade. And, of course, the all-essential Vegas casino. Over 21s can enjoy the pool, with nightly swims twice a week, Champagne Sundays and pool deck misting. Then there are the other decadences: the Brooklyn Bowl, a massive bowling and live music venue, and endless dining and drinking establishments, including 24-hour Hash House A Go Go, whose colossal portions featured on ‘Man v Food’.

4:03 1 yelp* & Back The LINQ Hotel... ・・・ Info Reviews More like th ★★ 5 minutes ago My husband and I have been staying at the Linq Hotel and Casino for years ever since it was changed from Imperial Palace We have had great experiences for the most part but lately the property has become run down. I also have noticed that you do not get your monies worth. This trip I was very disappointed with the pool. It was crowded but my husband and I found two unoccupied chairs behind the bar area. There were signs on other chairs across from the chairs we found but nothing to indicate the chairs we found to be rental chairs. After about 10 minutes of sitting in the chairs a pool security guard told us that they were rental chairs. Mind you no one was using the unmarked chairs or the marked chairs. We were unable to find any other chairs to sit in so we had to leave the pool area. What exactly do the extremely expensive resort fees entitle you to? Read less

I stayed here a few years prior and it was great for the price, but not this time. Our room was never cleaned, even after specifically requesting it to be. There was black water gurgling up through the sink pipes in the bathroom (which maintenance did come to fix), and it still wasn't cleaned after that! I voiced my complaint to registration when checking out, and was promised I'd be contracted by the housekeeping department to discuss. Of course that never happened. There are definitely better hotels in the area for the price. Read less
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Obnoxious check-in process

May 7, 2024 Bradley R

The obnoxious check-in process, and the attempted extortion of me doing the labor of checking myself in early and the machine wanting money is enough to make me never come back, and only be a detractor. It’s a Tuesday and not busy rooms are all ready. Sad

Very poor customer service. They are about the dollar and nothing less than. You can not check in until literally 3:30 on the dot. You try to check in at 3:25 and they will charge you $10 for early checkin. You want to check in at 3:00. You'll be charge $40. Or check in at 2, you'll be charge $60. The resort is not clean at all. There are over 2000 rooms so they all won't be perfect all of the time so of course those are the only reviews you are going to see here for the most part. I was worried before going that this place was going to be a nightmare based on the reviews but I had a Double in District 2 which was very clean and quite. I enjoyed my stay there so don't be put off by all of the negative reviews you see here. Those are only a very small percentage of the total guests that stayed there at that specific time. I only had a view to the parking garage but that was ok since I didn't request a view. I didn't encounter any smells in the hallways or my room. Everything in the room worked as expected. The check-in line was kind of long but they had about 6 folks at the front desk so it took less than 30 minutes to check in which wasn't bad based on the number of guests in line. I didn't find that the rest of the hotel/casino reeked of anything really. I'm not a fan of elevators but the ones at this hotel are super fast so I didn't even have time to feel uncomfortable before I arrived to my floor and also back to the casino. The base cost of the room plus the daily resort fee just results in the same amount that you would pay at any other hotel so that part didn't bother me. So just to recap, check-in was smooth, room was good, it smelled nice, and I would stay there again any time. Read less
