Thompson Nashville

Nashville, Tennessee

The hotel

Boutiquey and on a street buzzing with the bluegrass sounds of music mecca The Station Inn, Thompson Nashville is the latest luxury hotel opening in The Gulch. When you’re not exploring the district’s treasures, you can be viewing them through your bedroom’s floor-to-ceiling windows as you tap into its free WiFi, through the gym’s wall of glass, or from the rooftop bar with a cocktail in hand. Proud of their Nashville address, the team have curated treats which give an authentic taste of the region: there are the local flavours in your room’s minibar; the Alabaman coffee in its Killebrew café (which also promises a pastry counter of naughty accompaniments); and the menu of L.A. Jackson, which taps into the best Southern breweries, with their drinks served alongside sharing plates, tasty snacks, and classic dishes.

Loved the Thompson Nashville. Would definitely recommend and come back again. Quick ride to downtown. Close to all neighborhoods you want to visit. Boutique like feel, awesome rooftop scene and brunch was delicious.

Apart from the overall aesthetic, the staff was awesome. Front desk staff was always warm and friendly when we would leave for the day and when returning. The cleaning staff always kept up on tidying our room, even when we didn’t leave until later in the day. Overall a great hotel if you’re looking for something a little more upscale. Read less

Housekeeper hammered on my room door way before checkout even though I had do not disturb sign on my door. She challenged why I was still there and rudely informed me of the 11am checkout. I was flabbergasted!!

Every aspect of this hotel, from check in to check out, was expertly run. Kindest staff always looking to improve the stay. The benefits with AMEX were incredible. Will only be staying here while visiting Nashville. Only critique is offer softer mattresses as the ones currently are a bit rough.
