Virgin Hotels New York City is situated in the heart of the Manhattan on Broadway in the hip NoMad neighborhood, an area privy to some of New York’s  most iconic architecture. The hotel rises 38 stories with floor-to-ceiling windows and a rooftop pool offering breathtaking views of Lower Manhattan and the Empire State Building. From the moment you step into the lobby, you’ll notice the sophisticated, yet relaxed vibe – and no doubt plenty of eye-catching red, in particular the red elevator that will whizz you up to your chamber, which is uniquely designed to accommodate work, rest, and play.

463 chambers across 38 floors, all of which are uniquely designed and consist of two spaces separated by sliding doors. The first area ‘The Dressing Room’ features a full vanity, make up desk with mirror, extra large shower, and a closet for two. On the other side of the sliding door is ‘The Lounge’ featuring the bed, mini-bar*, and HDTV. All chambers feature floor-to-ceiling windows, air-conditioning, yoga mat, custom sensor lighting, ample outlets for smartphones, laptops and other electronic devices, and bathroom amenities.  

King Chambers feature 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Chamber Double 2 Beds sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Virgin Hotels New York City exceeded my expectations with its modern amenities, stylish design, and warm hospitality. Whether you're visiting for business or pleasure, this hotel is a fantastic choice for a memorable stay in the heart of NYC. I can't wait to return!

The hotel room was clean and well appointed (and bigger thank expected). I paid for a sky chamber with a view of the Empire State, which did not disappoint. The hotel was central and it was easy to get both downtown and uptown on the subway. The hotel let itself down on something small, but important - the coffee!!! The room came equipped with a coffee machine and was supplied with the coffee capsules and creamer etc all ready for our first morning! Unfortunately after the first day, it appeared to be a significant challenge to supply the correct sized coffee pods. After much liaison with the reception staff, on a daily basis, it became apparent that some rooms (including ours) had different coffee machines which took different t sized coffee pods. Housekeeping could not replenish our coffee pods correctly first time - we resorted to leaving notes in the room to explain with varying success. Read less

The Virginia Hotel was in a great location, but I was really impressed by the friendly staff, especially Endric, my bellman on the day I checked out. The roads were closed that day, so we weren’t able to call an Uber ourselves, but Endric was able to call us a cab and bring our luggage to the pick-up point. Great hotel and great location. We spent here one week with the family. Rooms were clean and in good shape. Our room was on the 27th floor and we hardly heard any traffic noise except emergency vehicles. Also the room doors were very sound proof. Great hotel and great location. We spent here one week with the family. Rooms were clean and in good shape. Our room was on the 27th floor and we hardly heard any traffic noise except emergency vehicles. Also the room doors were very sound proof. The hotel staff was really helpful (especially Jestin who helped us personally with the check-out) and they were also kind to children. We strongly recommend to take the breakfast package. The breakfast room is really nice with great views of the Empire State building. It is an à la carte breakfast with very high quality and also very peaceful. The swimming pool wasn’t open yet, which was little dissapointing to our children. Location is so great that we were able to walk to most of the places with our 10 year olds. For example the shopping streets, Madison Square Garden, Bryant Park and Times Square are within walking distance. The near est subway station is only two blocks away and we also used it a lot. Metro card for the whole week was a good investment for us. Next time, when we come here, we will stay at the Virgin hotel again. Read less
