The hotel

This glamourous bay-side residence sits on a curve of Vancouver Harbour facing stunning Stanley Park — giving you incredible views and incredible access to this urban utopia. You can explore the park like locals with The Westin Bayshore’s complimentary bikes (if you’re not tempted off-track by cycling expeditions like their tantalisingly titled ‘Craft Beer Tour’). This being a Westin hotel, they’ve included other sporty freebies like RunWESTIN jogging routes, YogaWESTIN sessions, and a WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio. If sport isn’t your game, there’s always spa treatments, a soak in the chic circular pool (perfectly positioned by the harbour’s boardwalk, and your room’s ‘Heavenly’ bed and bath. And, after the sightseeing, the sports, or the simple relaxation, you can take your seat in the H2 Rotisserie and Bar to enjoy seasonal cuisine and views of Coal Harbour and the North Shore Mountains.

We spent two days at the Westin Bayshore and the hotel is wonderful. The staff and service are top notch. The young man who checked us in was so professional. We got a room in the tower and the view was awesome. The concierge was wonderful and helped us with dinner reservations and directions. The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel is… Read more

Loved this hotel! They upgraded me to mountain/harbor view, which was breathtaking. Pool and cedar sauna were so relaxing in the thick of winter. It’s right by Stanley park and they have bikes you can borrow for free, a perfect amenity. I had a drink at the main bar — fun cocktail list even if the drink ultimately wasn’t amazing. Good service everywhere. Front desk was very friendly and accommodating and the guys handling bike rentals (also valets I think?) were very funny and kind. Bartender was attentive. Highly recommend! This hotel is super close to Stanley Park and an ideal location to stay due to the quietness, the beautiful landscape, water views, and overall excellent customer service and hospitality. The room was clean and view was beautiful. I love returning to this hotel whenever I get the chance.

Absolutely wonderful staff, very great view, but ...our room itself was not in the least Westin level. Leaky shower, stuck sliding door, broken toilet handle, etc. and the worst of it...chinsaw-like mechanical sounds off inside the walls mixed with a blinking WiFi box light that we were told "Just couldn't be fixed." We had a lousy sleep every… Read more

We had a lousy sleep every night because of the lights and sounds. I have stayed at many Westin Hotels around the globe...this was the worst room by a long shot. Read less
