1. Definitions
“Entrant” means any individual who has entered their details who is a resident in the United Kingdom with a valid EU passport, and submits the information as required in these terms or any relevant entry instructions;
“The Company” means Virgin Holidays and their partners;
“Site” means www.virginholidays.co.uk; and
“Terms and Conditions” means the terms and conditions set out in this document;
2. Legal Terms
2.1 If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion modify or suspend the promotion or invalidate any affected entries/claims. If an act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligation. 2.2 By entering details, Entrants hereby warrant that all entry details submitted are true, current and complete. Competition Entrants are providing information to Virgin Holidays and their respective partners involved in the competition (as set out at clause 5.1).
2.3 The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entry or content that is lost, delayed, misdirected, corrupted or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason.
3. Other Legal Terms
3.1 The Entrant accepts that the Company will have the right, without additional permission, to use his/her name and county of residence for the purposes of related promotional purposes.
3.2 No purchase is necessary.

3.4 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any claims and/or disputes arising out or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

3.6 The Promoter’s decision is binding in all matters and communication in relation to its decisions shall not be entered into.

With many customers needing our help, we are prioritising those customers due to travel before 31 December 2020. Don’t worry if you’ve missed a payment or just need a little more time to pay; we have options available to help you. If your holiday is going ahead as planned, you can continue to pay for your holiday in Manage my booking, even if travelling in less than 12 weeks. If you’re unsure, you can delay any additional payments by choosing a new time to travel by requesting a call back in Manage My booking for one of our team to look at options. If your holiday is more than 6 months away, you may wish to set up a Direct Debit to spread the cost. This can be arranged whilst rebooking or afterwards in Manage my booking.
We understand that you may wish to change your holiday plans and we appreciate the need for flexibility.

If we haven’t notified you of any changes, your holiday will be going ahead as planned but if you prefer to move your holiday to a later time we can help. You can call our team on 0344 472 9499 who can look at options for you.
Payments are being prioritised based on when the request was made, working in order from March 2020 onwards. We will always try to process refunds at the earliest opportunity, for requests before August our maximum timeframe is 120 days. As we are steadily reducing the maximum processing time for each new request, for refund requests made in August, we expect the maximum processing time to be 80 days, from the date the refund is requested. For those requesting a refund in September, we expect it to be processed within a maximum of 60 days, and then reduce to 30 days for refunds requested in October, before returning to normal levels.
To finalise the amendment, one of our customer advisors will phone you. We need to work through amend requests in departure date order so we can prioritise those with the most imminent travel plans, so you may have a longer wait than usual until we’re able to ring you back. We will help everyone that wants to move their holiday.
