We travelled as a family, and would normally stay in a hotel. However this time we thought we would give an apartment a try ... we are glad that we did! The apartment offered the best of all worlds. We travelled as a family, and would normally stay in a hotel. However this time we thought we would give an apartment a try ... we are glad that we did! The apartment offered the best of all worlds. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, within a 5-10 minute walk. So eating out is there is you want it. However if you have had a busy day exploring Cape Town, and would like a relaxing night in, then the apartment offers that too. Much better than having to just retire to your room as you would do in a hotel. We had the penthouse apartment, 3 bedrooms, and it was amazing. Beautifully furnished, all bedrooms spacious with ensuite. Balcony had a great view of the V&A waterfront. Well equipped kitchen, separate dining area, huge TV and fast wifi. The V&A Waterfront is a great area of the city. Really safe, great dining options, good range of shops. I would definitely stay at Lawhill for a future visit to Cape Town. Read less

Two families traveling together - each with an apartment, adjacent from each other, which was perfect! Walking distance from everything, and something to do for everyone: from young to old. We‘ll definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. It felt like home. Beautiful views, amazing location. We hardly used our vehicle as it’s walking distance to the V&A Waterfront. Lovely, friendly staff! We have stayed at the Lawhill twice already and will certainly be staying there again!

This was our third stay at Lawhill and once again, it’s location and service was of the highest quality. The staff to a person all treat you really well and nothing is too much trouble. We always feel safe and looked after when we stay there, thank you to all the staff.

Excellent base for Cape Town. Short walk to the Waterfront. Very clean and spacious apartment with everything you could need. 24/7 reception and the all the staff were very helpful and freindly. Good wildlife spotting area with plenty of activity on the canal
