1,590 rooms on 27 floors in 1 building with 12 lifts. All with air-conditioning, cable TV, kettle, iron and board, and hairdryer. Chelsea Rooms are 275 sq ft and have 1 queen-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Deluxe Rooms are 325 sq ft, most with private balcony, with 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Club Rooms are 325 sq ft and include access to the exclusive E|CLUB Lounge, with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Studios with Kitchenette are 325 sq ft and have a full-sized fridge, stove and microwave, with 1 king-size bed and a sofa bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

The hotel needs to be renovated, as you can clearly see the scratches and scuffs on the walls, doors and the windows don't always open. The rooms still have carpet in them and they are often filthy. The hotel needs to be renovated, as you can clearly see the scratches and scuffs on the walls, doors and the windows don't always open. The rooms still have carpet in them and they are often filthy. I had to ask for a room change, as the room didn't have heat and it was so small that I could almost touch the walls from side-to-side. The location is absolutely the best, as it is right in the middle of downtown with so many restaurants and entertainment. The meeting rooms are also old and tired looking with the heating fans loud and noisy. The food and service were excellent. Read less

The Chelsea is a very central location to many attractions. We got the room for a decent rate, however if we had to pay anymore I would choose another hotel. Our room was very tiny, like a roadside motel. Very old and in serious need of a good cleaning. Exposed pipes in bathroom and worn furniture. No mini fridge and only paper cups. The Chelsea is a very central location to many attractions. We got the room for a decent rate, however if we had to pay anymore I would choose another hotel. Our room was very tiny, like a roadside motel. Very old and in serious need of a good cleaning. Exposed pipes in bathroom and worn furniture. No mini fridge and only paper cups. The room was extremely warm and we needed to leave the small window open all night to cool off the room enough to sleep;unfortunately it was so noisy with the window open that sleep was still not possible. The bed which was supposedly a queen (barely a double) had also seen better days. Maybe there are better rooms and we were just unlucky. While the location was handy, I would caution not paying more than you would at a roadside motel for this old hotel which is in dire need of renovation and/or a good cleaning!! Read less

We stayed for 2 nights to see niagra falls ….beds were comfy but the room was tired needs updating and decorating. Also the noise from outside wasn’t blocked out very well and we were on the 20th floor! Wouldn’t return unless it has a makeover!

Planned last weekend in April/24 to attend Blue Jays game. We made reservations at Chelsea Hotel in Toronto. Hotel we very busy, but we did not experience any issues. Our grandsons aged 7, 5 and 2 loved the pool and kids' play area. All the staff were very helpful and accommodating. We had breakfast and dinner at the Market Garden; great choices.… Read more
