This was a convenient stay in a cozy suite with a kitchenette but it’s helpful to know a few things: - true ski in ski out with a ski concierge (you keep your boots and poles though) - the lodge is quite a ways up the hill from the Village (one of the farthest) but a shuttle runs back and forth regularly throughout the day and evening. A must-have service that lets you stay easily connected to Whistler. - there is ZERO on site in terms of food, bevies, entertainment. Just water & coffee in the lobby and vending machines. Next time we stay, first stop will be the village grocery store. - it follows from the point above that there’s no apres ski unless you stock up ahead of time and create it yourself. However, you can ski down the hill a short distance past the lodge and tada, you’re at the upper village (by the Fairmont). This is also where you get on the chairlift each time you ski out. If you do apres ski this way, the real challenge is getting back. You’re stuck with all your gear and the only way back to the lodge is by foot (long walk uphill in boots carrying your skiis - not feasible) or by walking to a shuttle stop and catching the next ride. - they do have a small retail space in the ski shop for basic things like toques or gloves. - they set up self serve hot chocolate at the ski in ski out point but it was always lukewarm. We got a good deal here through Booking.com so my review is high based on value. If we’d paid much more I’d have a very different opinion as this is not high end or in a prime location. Would definitely stay again if the price was right. I do think guests would benefit from having a few food & drink options for purchase. Read less

We stayed in a two bed suite and had all amenities we could possibly need in the apartment. The hotel is right on the bus loop and on the slope so very easy to get everywhere. Only disappointment was that one of the hot tubs was shut so we couldn't get into the other one as was always too busy

I never knew this place existed but I'll be back a bunch! Found a deal last month and I was back for the second time. The location is amazing for skiing - one of very, very few real "ski in/ski out" places in all of Whistler Blackcomb (the rest require you to walk non-trivial distances with your gear - yet say they are ski in/out). The rooms are great (been in a studio and a 1-bedroom). Hot tub, lobby, and the parking are bonuses for a quick ski trip. Staff are great. Highly recommendd. Read less

This place does what it does very well. It’s not high end but it’s comfortable, well equipped and super clean. The biggest surprise to me was how friendly and helpful the staff were. Because of that, the more tired parts of the property didn’t bother me as much as they might have. Views from our room were beautiful- those felt very 5 star!

My husband and I have stayed at the Blackcomb Springs Suites for last 10 ski seasons. Through three different owners, we have found that there is a consistency in the professionalism of the personnel. From the front desk to housekeeping to the ski room, everyone has been pleasant, helpful and very accommodating. Last year, when it was noticed that we were dealing with a dead car battery, one of the maintenance workers volunteered to pull his truck up to our car and helped us jump start the battery. Housekeeping is very good. The rooms are clean. Over the years, we have seen a number of up grades to the rooms. The walls are painted a more pleasing neutral color. The carpet, upholstered furniture, dining chairs and kitchen appliances have been replaced. One needs to remember that this is an old hotel. Not every aspect/area is new, shiny and/or “modern” looking. We stay in a studio room which we find very comfortable. The full kitchen is important to us. There is covered secure parking. The daily parking fee has not changed in the 10 years that we have been staying here. It is the only hotel in the area that has true ski in/ski out. This alone would make this hotel extremely attractive to us. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but the free shuttle bus stops right outside the front door which makes it very easy to access the town for dining and shopping. As long as there is snow on the Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, we will continue to enjoy our ski vacations at the Blackcomb Springs Suites. Read less
