The hotel

Oozing island charm, this bijou beauty has just 79 rooms but packs in plenty of reasons as to why it deserves a visit. Inspired by its stunning waterfront location, just a stroll from the heart of St Lawrence Gap with its great bars, restaurants and nightlife, Rostrevor Apartment Hotel features just enough turquoise touches to remind you the ocean’s right outside — in fact, every guest room looks out over it. If you want to get even closer, the swimming pool sits a few mere metres from the ocean, on a bluff-like perch that creates absorbing views as you swim and sunbathe. An equally alluring sunbathing spot, the secluded sands of Rostrevor Beach fringe the hotel. The pool’s paired with one of the hotel’s two eateries, the Almond Tree Pool Bar, so you can dine in casual comfort during the day, before heading to the other restaurant, The Harlequin, for International food with Caribbean flair for a delicious evening meal.

(103) which is right on the ground floor to the car park. At first you don’t feel too secure but it is. As there are no mosquito nets, you feel unable to leave the windows open to listen to the sea overnight. Well equipped. Daily maid service, regular towels, even when not requested. Good shower and plenty of hot water. Bar noise finishes by 1130pm. Ceiling fan was great so didn’t need air con running overnight. Mosquito net to the bathroom window would allow for better ventilation. Great value for money. Has its own small beach and you can swim out so far. Read less

We were B&B and the food was great, slightly limited but very nice (served 7am-2pm!!). The room and Hotel were extremely clean, towel and bedding changes brilliant. Room was a bit “tired” but no problem…the only poor point was the shower, always cold and you had to run around under it to get wet! Not really a worry though as the weather was so hot a cold shower was needed anyway. Overall a superb location and a fantastic place to stay with multiple fabulous beaches either 2 minutes walk away or more choices 15 minutes walk away. “Restaurant” prices vary a lot both in food and drinks, look out for happy hour offers, Banks lager can very from 3 bottles for 12 Barbados dollars to 9 dollars per bottle depending when and where you are. We went exploring and would recommend Harrison’s Cave in the centre, also Rihanna’s house on the beach at Sandy Lane was amazing, as were the Turtles and Frigate birds at the same beach. Enjoy your holiday, it’s a trip of a lifetime and the Rostrevor Appartments are a great place to base yourself. Rob and Lyn.. Read less

We stayed here for 2 weeks. First week in 2 bedroom apartment with our adult son and daughter. Second week superior room for my husband and I. Great location Friendly staff Well stocked kitchen. Can be noisy at night so take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Would definitely stay here again.

The stay at this property did not meet my expectations, the room I was assigned was dated and would do with some updating in comparison with their other higher level rooms, the studio rooms by the pool, is a forgotten thought, it's spacious kitchenette with big and small appliances is the only positive, but I didn't partake as I ate all my meals off property, the property and its location is still in the best spot in the St Lawrence area, with many restaurants for different budgets and tastes, bars, public and private transport, beaches, shops, nightlife and entertainment...all within walking distance, the Harlequin restaurant on property serve some of the best food in the area, but only open for dinner, but there's a small intimate restaurant in the hotel for breakfast and light meals, its only busy at breakfast, as most guests dine out after that meal period, the staff is not as welcoming as a previous stay, housekeeping service is not at good standard, and need to be looked at by management, so just an okay stay!
