Split into two sections, Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya - Hacienda is a family friendly playground packed full of fun with amenities galore. Plus when staying in the Hacienda section, you'll have access to the restaurants, bars and facilities within the Heaven section, which has both family and adults-only areas. Rock Suite Platinum 2-Bed have ocean front views with master en-suite bedroom with 1 king-size bed, a second bedroom with 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 2 adults and 4 children.

Rock Suite Platinum Rooftop 2-Bed as above with a dining and living room area, master en-suite bedroom 1 king-size bed, a second bedroom with 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 6 adults or 2 adults and 4 children.

Rock Star Suites have 2 bedrooms, one with 1 king-size bed and the other with 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults. As the name suggests, this suite is fit for a Rock Star, with hooded throne seating and a custom gold and silver mirrored horse sculpture, not forgetting the Jacuzzi soaking tub in the master bedroom.

4 restaurants and 2 bars: The Market (buffet breakfast and dinner), Pizzeto (pasta/pizza), Frida (Mexican cuisine), Zen (Japanese), Cafetto (coffee bar), Float (snacks/drinks). Plus access to a further 6 restaurants and 3 bars at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya Heaven (some of which are adult-only). A la carte restaurants are reserved in advance in resort on arrival.

We had 2 personal assistants Mafer and Paola who treated us like royalty. The food was excellent. The Hard Rock was beautiful. This is our third year here and we will be back next year.

We didn’t know what to expect. Property was super clean and the rooms were perfect. We also had amazing food and service at all restaurants. We can’t wait to go back. Planning on bringing the family next year!

The food ranged from quite good to very poor. The room felt that it could use a refresh. Most of the staff were excellent. There’s no swimming in the sea. In room dining was not very good and took forever to arrive. The checkin experience was quite poor.

At the Ciao restaurant, our friendly waiter Roger served us very well. Very attentive. At the Faro restaurant, our dear Manu and the friendly Franc are very helpful. Everyone at this restaurant is very kind. Javier served us very well at the Toro restaurant, too. The employees in general are very helpful. It would be unfair not to highlight this point. Chicks to be improved. Our room in building 3 was bad. Small and very noisy as it was next to the elevator and next to the stairs. Many rude guests talking loudly in the corridors and making noise. Some employees collecting dishes make noise in the early hours of the morning too. Very uncomfortable! The Toro restaurant has good food, as do Wai and Umo. The Ciao improves on last year but is far from being the best of previous years. The Frenchman Le Petit Cochon was a regular. Noisy and uncomfortable environment. The hotel in general years ago was more comfortable and less crowded. It has become very populated with entire families, which makes access to beach chairs, swimming pools and quieter places difficult. Restaurants are crowded with employees running everywhere. The service is good but the food lacks quality. Overall, the beauty of the hotel plus the beautiful views make up for the negative points. But we have to improve what was already excellent. Our butler Mafer is attentive and concerned about our well-being. Positive point for her. Read less

Excellent service staff was amazing Alejandro was fantastic made my stay very comfortable especially when travelling with young kids. Carlos and Gabby were great as well. Food was excellent 👌
