We were there 10 years ago and after going to Secrets in Cabos for the past 8 years , we decided to try this resort once again and it did not disappoint. It is still an amazing resort. Our daughter and boyfriend joined us this time and being their first time in Cancun, they really enjoyed the resort and all it has to offer. The beach is clean and the seaweed situation is cleaned up every morning and you can go into the sea where's Cabos you can't, that's another reason why we came here this time. Special thanks to Rafael @ reception for putting us into a room with a beautiful view ( that made my wife happy). Also Alberto and Bernie at Market Cafe for remembering our drinks as soon as we sat down for breakfast and lunch. Thanks to Angel, Diego, Sergio, Pedro and the rest of the entertainment for making our vacation fun. Keep up the good work! For those who read about the smell in the lobby, there's a slight smell but not enough to make a big deal about. My wife noticed it once passing by but I didn't. Everything went pretty smooth from check in to check out. You will get approached from the Unlimited club people so politely decline and they'll leave you alone. We enjoyed the evening entertainment as they were musical shows (dancing and singing) nightly that lead into dancing at the piano club at the end of the night for us. Our stay was very relaxing and the waitstaff was extremely polite and helpful. We had a small issue with the room, a leak in the ceiling that required maintenance two days in a row. The restaurants were decent but without reservations you could be waiting 30 minutes to an hour.

This resort exceeded my expectations. I visited the resort for 7 nights and I enjoyed every night to the fullest. The resort catered to all our needs, I had the best sleep and was able to relax and unwind while I was there.

Resort is clean, with every room having a view. It’s different from many all inclusive resorts we’ve stayed in, in that it is a high rise and on a small property. Resort is clean, with every room having a view. It’s different from many all inclusive resorts we’ve stayed in, in that it is a high rise and on a small property. That resulted in it having a less tropical feel and not a lot of ability to just stroll through the grounds which me missed. But we did use our balcony more than any other time. Also because they are a smaller resort, whenever there is a wedding or event, they start setting up mid-afternoon in the pool area and therefore you have to move. When paying that kind of money you don’t want limited access. We went to a presentation to have access to the Preferred Club, mostly so we could use the separate pool. Was supposed to be a 90 minute presentation that we had to cut off at the two hour mark. Attend at your own risk. They are trying to sell hard. Customer service is the best I have ever encountered anywhere. They make you feel like they truly want to help. An absolute 10/10 on this. For anyone with Celiac or gluten intolerance, you are safe here. Items are labelled and if you have questions a chef will come talk to you and make you something different from the menu if you like. But do remember that Spanish is their first language. I always travel with a translated card explaining my restrictions to be safe. One note is that on the menu in the Italian restaurant, for some reason, they labelled an item with a symbol that looked like the gluten-free symbol but without the line through it. It was calling attention to the fact that it did contain gluten. Could easily be confused. But again, if you are afraid to travel, I ate well and safely here. Read less
