The hotel

Great as a base, the Avanti Resort is set in the heart of International Drive, in the middle of all the attractions and entertainment you could ask for. Not only are you right there for all the major theme parks, but you’ve also got movie theatres, restaurants galore, clubs and bars to cover the whole family’s entertainment. There's plenty to enjoy at the resort as well, with a large pool, sandy man-made beach with sun terrace and loungers, a gym, and a games room for the youngsters. You might want to extend your holiday to fit all of that in!

652 rooms. All with air-conditioning, flat-screen cable TV, coffee maker, mini-fridge, microwave, hairdryer, iron and board. Standard Rooms have 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Accessible rooms available on request, subject to availability.

My sister and I stayed at the Avanti international resort in April 2024. We were put in building 2 room 2418 which was away from the pool area where it can be pretty loud. My sister and I stayed at the Avanti international resort in April 2024. We were put in building 2 room 2418 which was away from the pool area where it can be pretty loud. The pool is open from 7am till 11pm and most days would have music on till late. Our room was close to a main road but what little noise we heard created white noise which was preferred. Our plan was to spend the 10 days in Florida at both Disney and Universal parks. I chose Avanti due to the complementary shuttles to the parks and central location on internationals drive. The Icon park is a stones throw away and over the road is a liquor store, walgreens and restaurants. Our room was modern and clean and house keeping came every day with fresh towels and to make beds. We ate at the pool cafe on a few nights after the park. Their BBQ burger and fries is amazing! Didn’t rate the popcorn shrimp. Staff were very friendly. I purchased items from Amazon to be delivered to reception and they were happy to store my parcel in the lock up for me to collect. My sister and I are now looking into planning a trip next year and would like to return the Avanti international resort for future holidays. Read less

The coments are somehow negative rowards noise. We did not feel it Some mentioned cleaning issues and unfortanetly our room was not cleaned -floor Also we did not have toilet paper for a whole day! What a shame since the location is amazing!!! Ill point out an amazing employee Stefanny she tried her best to acommodate our needs and gave us TP… Read more

I suffer from asthma and found the smell of the cleaning liquid they use on the floor of the reception had a very strong smell which affected my asthma. I was unable to go into reception. The room also smelled of a very strong bleach cleaner than caught the back of your throat. I asked the cleaner not to use it in are room, but they sometimes forgot, or had a different cleaner. The room would benefit from a good clean especially the floor in the bathroom. Read less

Free Shuttle to the parks is a bonus have to be early and book onboard as it fills up fast. Staff are helpful and friendly all round a great stay. Read less
