Nice hotel, beds and linens are comfy. Laguna restaurant on site, has good food, somewhat limited menu. Buffet breakfast is good with a lot of options. Good location, close to International Blvd with so many dining and activity options. Seaworld is literally in your back yard when you are here. Only downside is the room always felt damp and a bit musty, no doubt the Florida weather, but even with the AC cranked, it didn't seem to help. And I wish they explained the amenities better, and had the shuttle times to Seaworld posted better, I only saw one little schedule posted in the main lobby concierge. I would stay here again for sure. Read less

The screened balcony is great. Landscaping encourages privacy and limits the noise of children on the grounds. The suite has old school tv- no steaming and literally hooked to a dvd player from 20 yrs ago. I can hear every word from the family next to me. It’s a couple with a small child. She is up at 6:30, eats at 7, goes to bed around 10pm.They… Read more

She is up at 6:30, eats at 7, goes to bed around 10pm.They sit for supper at the table nightly around 9. In case you’re wondering. I am a Hilton honors member and bought a marketing package- 3 nights and 70K points for around $200. After I attended the promo presentation. I purchased and additional night and later learned that it is half the price if booked online. At the resort-seaworld Orlando, I learned that the presentation was at another site- no shuttle. I had to arrange for, and pay, transportation to and from the site. The Uber with tip was around $25. Currently, they are also not awarding the points- claiming that it was limited to the 3 day package. Between the additional day, airfare to work around dates, transportation- no shuttle from the airport- The whole ordeal has cost me twice a planned trip. I should’ve have known better, but I thought that Hilton treated guests/members better. Read less

Very misleading hotel This hotel is Great for proximity to the attractions, no different than the 100 other options nearby. We stayed in the villa for one night. Toilet looked to be glued with 2 inches of caulking, the AC unit emits musty moist smell and the villa is really outdated. Pools are smaller than pics indicated otherwise were fine.… Read more

Toilet looked to be glued with 2 inches of caulking, the AC unit emits musty moist smell and the villa is really outdated. Pools are smaller than pics indicated otherwise were fine. Room rates look low, but fine print is 25 daily resort fee and 30 day parking fee. They also tried to charge me for parking twice. I’ve stayed in hundreds of Hilton hotels, this was a disappointment and chose it mostly for the Hilton name. With so many options nearby, look elsewhere Read less

Horrible hotel-really a motel. How this is rated 4 stars is unbelievable. Lobby was updated so is completely misleading. We stayed in the “villas”, Building 15, which is a motel from the 1960’s, and has not been updated since that same time period. Dirt behind the bathroom doors, musty rooms with a/c blowing moist air, drapes that don’t close… Read more

Would have switched rooms but everyone in our group had a room similar to ours Read less

Just had a week in Orlando staying at the Double Tree. Considering its proximity to the convention centre I have to say what a great location it is for many of the areas attractions. Having been to Orlando many times I didn’t actually visit any of the parks but it’s ideally situated. There is a footpath straight into Sea World and also Aquatica is very close. International Drive is a short ride away and Ubers are very easy to use. Eg the big wheel costs only $8 - $9 to get there. The hotel itself has everything you might need. The rooms ( I was in building 9 ) could do with little bit of an upgrade ( shower, low pressure and AC noisy ) but overall very good and housekeeping was in every day. The pool area was great although the pool temperature wasn’t 🥶🤣 The pool bar was fantastic with live sport on daily and the service was 1st class ( thanks to Leo, Hayley and Miguel ) Read less
