A beautiful resort ruined by the days pass. This is our second time visiting this resort and although we have booked for next year this will be our last visit. We are going to change our accommodation. The resort is stunning the pools are beautiful as are the grounds and the staff are wonderful . Our first week was fab very busy with conferences but still great. The second week they introduced day passes and it all went down hill . Children eating full on chicken tender meals I. The pool, bins full to over flow, toilets and down stairs lobby covered in dirty towels . Food and trays left all over the floor pans plastic cups flying around . If the day pass guests treated the hotel with respect it would be fine but they don’t . They also get 15% off food and drinks for their $25 dollar a day pass . We have paid over £4500 to come here and aren’t entitled to a discount o anything . Can’t get a sun lounger and to be honestly I do not want to go into the pools as they are packed and the guests are quite rude . The smell of weed has been all over the hotel particularly down by the fishing dock and and nature trail . I feel so so sorry for the house keeping staff . It’s really not fair for them to have such a mess to clean up. In the past we have stayed at lower star hotels as we have been at the parks but this last 2 years we have had more of a chill holiday so wanted somewhere a little nicer … it was beautiful until they day pass customers ruined it with their lack of respect for the hotel, staff and other guests . Such a shame as it really is a beautiful place and I can’t even tell you how sad I am that we will be cancelling next years booking . I understand the hotel needs to make money and I understand why they have implemented the day passes but it really has down grades the hotel with how it’s been treated by guests . I am not a snob I grew up on a council estate and I am easy going to expect to get what Iv paid for . I feel This hotel is over priced for the money with how the place looked once the day pass guests arrived . Such a great shame and I really feel for staff . If you’re coming during peak season you’ll be fine as they don’t have day passes but if you are out of season then I’d look at going somewhere else . Read less

Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The pool is sparkling clean. There is a nice walkway outside for an evening walk. Be sure to check out the facility garden where they use the fruit and vegetables for the onsite restaurants. It was easy to get an Uber or utilize the shuttle to Universal Studios, make sure check the shuttle schedules or you will have to get a form of transportation. It’s a beautiful place to relax after a day of learning from a conference or exploring the attractions of Orlando. Would definitely recommend if traveling to Orlando. Read less

We have just returned home after our 3rd visit to Rosen Shingle Creek. Once again we had a wonderful time. Amazing pool areas, bars and close to everywhere we wanted to visit. A special mention to our housekeeper, Aklima who was so friendly and helpful. The room was kept so clean and she ensured we never ran out of things we may need.

Rosen Shingle Creek is a beautiful resort surrounded by a picturesque golf course and seemingly far from the Orlando chaos yet it is not. Attended a convention at the hotel and only left for a couple of runs during my 3 day visit. The rooms are comfortable and clean, what you would expect at a resort of this caliber. Rain shower would have been nicer. The convention facilities were great and the service / food was top notch. Service throughout the resort was fantastic. Only ate at the Mexican restaurant Mi Casa Tequila Taqueria with fabulous tableside guacamole and excellent burrito. Filling. As with everything these days, it is expensive. The Market is a place to grab some quick eats to avoid the restaurant prices. A great experience and a recommended resort that is close enough to the attractions yet cordoned off from a lot of the craziness. Read less
