This resort is the place to relax. It is picture perfect, supported by amazing staff, incredible food and excellent facilities. My tip is pay the extra and get an ocean sunset villa. The free sunset cruise is then unnecessary because the views from your porch at sunset are so spectacular. You also have unlimited access to the Sunset Restaurant. No need to go anywhere else for food (except maybe a pizza and beer at Lohis' surfer resort on the other side of the atoll.) There is food for every taste, including a gluten free selection, and it is a very high quality - try the curries!. We had lovely cocktails at the pool bar but generally just had a few drinks with our meal (again, anything you want). The fridge in the villa is also stocked daily with soft drinks, juices and beer. Our butler ensured we had everything we wanted as well as saved us walking in the heat with his trusty buggy. Thank you Rahul for being informative, welcoming and helpful! The staff at the restaurant were the stars, so kind and attentive every day. Thank you KK and Ananda and your staff for making our stay so memorable. The clam shell full of flowers on our table was very special and touching (not everyone received this; we did see a couple of honeymooners received them but we weren't honeymooners or having any special occasion). Re activities, there are plenty of options, but for a stay of 6 days we didn't do more than the sunset cruise, the dolphin cruise and the reef cruise (well worth it - lots of reef sharks but we had sharks on our doorstep). The room was extremely comfortable, very cool, great bed and pillows. Bottle of champagne on arrival was a nice touch. Servicing can be a bit slap dash but Rahul provided anything that was missing promptly. Thanks again for a memorable stay Read less

I’m writing this review as we were just guests if this resort last week. Unfortunate I had to give them 1 star as it didn’t allow for negative stars The quick opinion/ review would be to pass on this place. I’m sure there are other options and for the insane prices we paid per night. You can find better if not just as good options that are on the same price range. Horribly staffed, lack of amenities, including food, timing and options of availability.. it’s a HARD PASS . Find elsewhere to stay. The longer detailed version: We booked 2 rooms here for 3 nights each to stay before our main reason for coming to the Maldives which is a 1 week stay on a catamaran. Upon the shuttle boat (over loaded ) dropping the 23 or so of us guests off for check-in it became very obvious that they were so unorganized, frantic and really looked at us Americans as second class citizens. Like it was their first day. The hostess said it will be 15 minutes. 1.5 hours later we’re angry and still can't get any help. I’m asking why and the rude young man at the check in desk just said “there are issues and we’re looking into them”. Yet he wouldn’t tel me the “issues” At about the 2 hour wait time a very sweet Russian lady came up and she genuinely cared and wanted to help. She was heaven sent! Turns out they “overbooked” and we don’t get the beach front villa we reserved and paid for the first night. We have no choice but to stay in a garden room and the bigger pain is having to move the next day. UGH what a pain. I’m sure they do this on purpose and on a daily basis, as are able to charge people for the much more expensive rooms and give up very little in exchange for it. It was like a bad version of the game show Deal or No Deal as we’re talking to a manager who’s relaying messages back-and-forth to us through somebody else. Finally asked to speak to him directly. Yes, he understood how we felt and yet was very little he was willing to do. We had no choice but to take the room and move the next day. It’s crazy but for 2 people they give you one room key. This is not a credit card size key. This is a regular key on a large wooden keychain and they say that if you lose it it’s $100 to replace it. You know they have multiples of each key for each room, which is just ridiculous. The ocean view rooms have the bathrooms outside toilet and two showers. Which is not a problem until you see a drone flying overhead. Seriously? The heaven sent concierge lady has been more than fantastic communicating with us, setting us up on making sure that we’re taken care of. I’d strongly advise against the sunset to our boat. The captain was very creepy. The boat didn’t look like it could hold five passengers let alone the over booked 40 or 45. That it had on it when it said 33 capacity. A children’s area/pool would be great as all adults and kids share the same 1 pool , deck area and bar. Seriously ?? Yay!!! Screaming, unruly, bratty kids..😣😣 There is 1 buffet restaurant that’s open 2 hours each for breakfast , lunch and dinner.. oddly enough dinner is from 7:30pm-9:30pm… if you want to eat before then it’s pizza (pretty good but a hike away) or burgers, dogs and bar food at the other end of the island that closes at 7pm. We showed up here at 6:45 and we’re giving nothing short of an Absolutely hard time looking for some food even though they close at 7pm. Finally they served us but it wasn’t without unnecessary arguments Being Jet lagged is a thing (we traveled 23 hours to get here) so we were up super early and ready for bed early as well, not their problem but this just pronounces the lack of food options and amenities. Oh and gawd forbid you need ice.. not a single ice maker available for visitors…. If you want ice in a drink you’ll get 2 cubes like there’s a huge shortage of frozen water… 🙄🙄🙄 There is a reservation only restaurant which we are eating at tonight. You’re only allowed one meal there during your stay. What all inclusive resort does this? The RIU has many food, drink and pool options available 16 or so hours a day. Oh, and I forgot to mention they charge $150 per person for a 30 minute boat ride to get here. That’s a crime!!! As I said previously, you have lots of choices of places to stay and I would advise that this is a hard pass for the $500-$1000 per room per night they charge you. The attitudes , lack of helpful staff and amenities even makes this less appealing. You’d think that an all inclusive would go all out to make sure guests are well taken care of. This place went the opposite way by not caring and doing everything as cheap as possible and with attitude … 1 bartender at each of the 4 locations island wide. They also rinse the glasses out only.. not even using the dishwasher … ugh very inefficient and gross. I hope this was helpful. Good luck and happy traveling Read less

My wife and I went for a holiday and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious, and the best part was that the staff s(esp. muizz and hemanth from bar) were not only friendly but also highly skiled. We were delighted and might visit next time.

Blessed to have stayed on this island for 8 nights. We had a very warm welcome, check in was fantastic and the wifi very useful and reliable! The plug sockets are universal and no adapters needed. I just cannot fault a single thing. We stayed in a sunset beach villa and a sunset ocean villa and both were impeccable! We had our rooms tended to every day atleast twice a day and the fresh beach towels left every evening was such a special touch, nowhere else we have been has done this, supplying beach towels, let alone fresh ones every evening. The beach was stunning, the snorkelling was an amazing daily experience. The sunsets and just to be able to walk so easily from one end of your island to the other was wonderful. All the staff were so friendly and helpful but a special shout out goes to Muizz and Thushara who went to extra lengths for us and they were so friendly and caring. Thank you so much! The restaurants were lovely and the food was delicious, so much choice, along with lovely, friendly staff. The Tiki Bar was so entertaining with a brilliant DJ and hoopla hoop lady, such skills! The beach grill was so handy for snacks and drinks and their cheeseburgers and calamari are the best we have ever had. Lohis Waves pizza restaurant is worth trying too, delicious pizzas, freshly made and dining to the sound of the waves was lovely. I would recommend the sunset restaurant shark view evening meal, just magical. The free deep sea snorkelling trip was incredible ! The dolphin cruise was pure magic and a dream come true to see all the dolphins in the wild. This whole island was just stunning, to be able to stand in crystal clear sea and watch the beautiful, colourful marine fish swimming all around you was just unreal! What can I say, we fell in love with this island and hopefully we can return one day soon… Read less
