Heritance Aarah is a luxurious resort in the secluded and picturesque islands of the Raa Atoll. Offering it's visitors pristine, golden beaches and beautifully clear turquoise waters, this resort brings to life everything you expected the Maldives to be from the moment you step foot off your seaplane transfer. The resort features a variety of different accommodation options such as Beach Villas that provide direct access to stretches of heavenly Indian Ocean and more luxurious such as overwater villas and suites, each with direct step access to the beautiful blue waters from your private sun deck. There's also a mix of sumptuous cuisines for you to indulge in from sunrise to sunset and with premium all-inclusive you can enjoy all your favourite drinks to with each culinary masterclass.  This resort is jampacked full of amenities on both land and sea, making it the perfect location for couples and families alike, the resort offers an array of recreational activities, such as snorkelling, diving, football, tennis and even excursions to nearby islands, allowing guests to work up a sweat, explore the vibrant underwater world or just enjoy the natural beauty of the Maldives. Where is it

Within the scenic Raa Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 40 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 25kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Hotel information

150 suites, ocean villa and land villas. All with flat-screen TV, safe, Marshall bluetooth speaker, WiFi access, mini-bar, tea/coffee-making facilities and espresso machine. Beach Villas have direct access to the beach from the private sundeck and separate en-suite bathroom with bath and outdoor shower. Featuring 1 king-size bed, sleeping a maximum of 3 adults. 


Premium All-Inclusive: includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at all restaurants (Hathaa dining will be subject to an additional supplement, Baani dining is for Ocean Suite and Ocean Resident guests only). Mini-bar replenished twice daily. Complimentary bottle of sparkling wine/champagne* on arrival. Two complimentary bottles of water, per day. Two bottles of spirits selected by the guest added to the in-villa mini bar daily. In villa dining**. Cooking classes. Cocktail masterclasses. Ice cream, candy and cocktails.

Ocean Villas have direct step access to the ocean from the private sundeck. Private en-suite bathroom and 1 king-size or twin-sized bed and over-sized day bed. Sleeps a maximum of 3 adults.

Pool Beach Villas are larger in size than standard Beach Villas and feature their own private plunge pool and have 1 King-sized bed and an over-sized daybed. Sleeps a maximum of 3 adults.

Family Beach Villas are generously sized and have direct beach access. They have a spacious en-suite bathroom with a bath, jacuzzi and outdoor shower. The first room features a King-sized bed and an oversized day bed and the second bedroom features twin beds and an oversized day bed. Sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children.

Family Pool Beach Villas are slightly larger in size than the Family Beach Villa and have the same sleeping arrangements and bathroom amenities, with the addition of a private plunge pool on the sundeck. Sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children.

Ocean Suites with Infinity Pool are a luxurious experience, featuring direct step access to the ocean and private infinity pool. Rooms feature private en-suite bathroom with bath tub and have 1 King-size bed. Sleeps a maximum of 2 adults.

Ocean Residence with Infinity Lap Pool is the largest room type available at nearly 300sq metres. This suite includes a spacious en-suite bathroom with bath tub on both floors, two king-sized beds and a single bed. Sleeps a maximum 6 adults with an additional bed.

Ranba (Serving international cuisine, buffet style. Open breakfast, lunch and dinner). Ralu (serving French and Italian cuisine, open 07:00am-22:00pm). Ginifati (serving fresh seafood, open 19:00pm-22:00pm). Ambula (serving contemporary Sri Lankan cuisine, open 19:00pm-22:00pm). Hathaa (serving urban street food, open 19:00pm-22:00pm). A hotel with exceptional service. Rooms are spacious and well designed. Food is amazing. Activities are enjoyable. Special thanks to our butler Kunal for his professional and impeccable service during our stay. Will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Our experience in the Maldives was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect: great beach, delicious food, excellent rooms, and super friendly staff everywhere. Our favorite was our butler, Kunal, who did everything to make our trip perfect.

Had a fabulous 10 days staying in an ocean suite at the Heritance Aarah Maldives. On arrival we met our butler for the stay called Arka. From start to finish impeccable service. Restaurants booked for us and any extras we needed. He also took us all over the island whenever we wanted via a WhatsApp group. The suite was perfect everything we needed, very spacious with its own infinity pool. For the Ocean suites, there is a private bar/breakfast area. The waiters, Ishan & Travin were particularly amazing. Very helpful & really friendly. I did understand that at the Oceans suites though that it was for adults only although children were next door to us. Fantastic views (apart from a continuous red flashing light at night from an island just across from heritanceaarah, we believe this could be a type of landfill for all the rubbish from surrounding islands) this was not ideal! The beaches are beautiful and cleaned daily. The pool bar was very good , always free beds at both pools although we kept to the one for the suites only as it was like having your own private pool. All the people that we met that worked there were very good, polite and friendly. The food was very good although apart from Ramba ,the menus didn’t change so going back for dinner more than once wasn’t the experience expected. Also with an additional charge Haatha the Japanese restaurant was very good and the chef Ishan and waiter Kanth were fantastic. It made it into a great experience along with incredible food. Also there was a considerable amount of add ons. A glass of coconut water $10, cocktails of the day $10, $15 and sometimes $20 extra, lobster, crab and. Prawns a huge supplement. Not what you’d expect with the constant reminder that the resort was ‘premium all inclusive’, I would have expected that cuisine such as lobster and prawns would have been included in “premium”. The dolphin cruise was very good but on the hotel description the cruises were for a max of 10 people there was 21 on ours. The house reef was also disappointing,not many fish at all. The cocktails were excellent especially at the Sky bar. Roshan really did make us feel welcome and his knowledge of cocktails was impeccable. The housekeeping team were very good, constant clean towels and dressing gowns changed. Also Elemis products replenished daily. The wine fridge always checked and again replenished daily by Arka. The spa was really good although very expensive. Bibi was so helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable about all the treatments and products. All in all a fabulous holiday that only needed a few changes to make it a perfect holiday. Read less

First time in this resort. We stayed in a beach villa with a pool. The island is quite compact so it was close to everywhere. Nice snorkeling, we even saw turtles. Meals were also fine and our IRU contact was always helpful. We hope to return here sometime. Tomas and Martina

He showed us around the resort, reserved and took us to dinners and activities, helped us when the kids got burnt after spending too much time in the sun etc. Our stay on the resort by far exceeded our expectations and we would love to visit again.
