Where is it

Sat in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in Baa Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 30 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

I wouldnt say food is outstanding, but in general it wasnt bad(keep in mind that Im very consious eater). They did always ask if Theres anything they can do for me to make the meal better, if I require any adjustments). We were on full board and only paid 90$ extra after 5 nights stay (3 people). I literally had tears in my eyes while leaving the island and seeing the staff standing with the sign We will miss You and saving towards us… unforgettable thank you So much ❤️ Read less

We visited the Westin Maldives Miriandhoo earlier this month for a three night stay, and every detail was exceptional. They coordinated with our hotel in Male to make sure we had a seamless transit to the island. Once we landed by sea plane, the executive and welcoming team were waiting to greet us at arrival, with several including hotel manager Laurent and Executive chef Fahdrul personally welcoming us to our stay and to give us their contact information if we had any special requests. We stayed in a room over the water on the east side of the island, where we were able to experience some of the most spectacular sunrises we've ever experienced in the morning. The moon door in the lounge area was a great place to sit and look for a great variety of fish as they swam by. The private pool and deck overlooking the ocean was perfection. To top it off, we wound down the day watching dolphins pass by near the deck in the evenings. Saud, our room attendant, kept the space immaculate and put in a very thoughtful decoration on our final afternoon. As you would expect, the beaches, pools and reefs were spectacular for relaxing and swimming. Buffet had plenty of options for every taste in the morning, and the resort restaurants had plenty of choices and variety for lunch and dinner. We weren't able to get a reservation at The Pearl, which was a bit of a bummer, but we made do with the other options. The biggest delight of the trip though came from getting to know Fikree, the Assistant Chief Engineer. He went out of his way to check with guests at breakfast each morning, making sure there were no issues with the rooms or facilities. We struck up a conversation, and after asking how the resort manages water treatment, waste and power, he gladly offered to give us a "behind the scenes tour." Not what most people are on the look out for during a vacation, but we got a huge kick out of it. It also gave us the chance to form a lasting relationship and hear more about life in Maldives. Fikree - thank you so much for the unique experience! The only improvement we could recommend - I wish there had been a few more creative mocktail options, but 5-star experience regardless. Read less

Enjoyed my 5D4N stay in this beautiful hotel! Marvellous experience from all the staff here, special shout out to Min, the Chef! He has always been attentive, and my daughter likes him a lot! In addition to that, the Kids Club here is awesome too! Room - 5/5 Cleanliness - 5/5 Service - 5/5 I will definitely come again for their service!

Just returned from the most wonderful holiday at the Westin Maldives Miriandhoo. The island is very beautiful with a beautiful house reef on one side of the island. We saw all types of exotic fish and even lots of black tip reef Sharks. The island itself is not big so everything is within short distance and even though the resort was operating at full capacity it felt like we had the island to ourselves most of the time. We were taken well care of from the minute we arrived at Male Airport and until we arrived at the resort. But what really sets the Westin Maldives apart from all other places we have visited is its people. So, a special thank you to: Jinan (dive center) for a safe and amazing private snorkeling trip where we saw sea turtles, a beautiful reef and even dolphins on the way back (Janin extended the tour just to find Dolphins). We can highly recommend a private tour. We were travelling with kids aged 7 and 11 who were a little bit afraid of the big open sea – but Jinan secured that the kids (Nora and Elliot) felt safe and gave the entire family an experience we will never forget. Anupam for his excellent service everytime we visited the Island Kitchen. Deepak for sincerely caring for all of us especially our kids – and also a big thanks to Deepak for sharing his life story and perspectives on people and cultures around the world. Truly inspiring. Chef Miin for always striving to do even better from an already very high level (we are still dreaming of that delicious fresh local Tuna) Fikree for his passion for people and for sharing his personal journey. A special thanks for the connection you had with the kids and thank you for the gifts (the raindeer you gave Nora is now sleeping by her side every night – and has been named Fikree). Adam for looking after our Bungalow and for the most beautiful creations on the bed before bedtime. The staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Laurent, Deepak, Amir the dive guide, Fikree the engineer and Saud our room cleaner were all especially helpful. The star of our stay was Chef Min Parajuli who went above and beyond for us, as a wedding party and individually. Making special meals on request and making sure we were happy at all times. The food was amazing. Absolutely delicious and lots of fresh food and healthy options if desired. I couldn’t rate this resort more highly. Read less
