Had to check out at 11pm because we simply could not sleep here. Old, used soap in the shower, mold, a door that hit the toilet to close, filthy carpet, a mattress that was 8 inches tall and used to be 25", a bath rub that had 3 inch circles of chipped porcelain and beat up furniture and paper thin walls. Repeatedly asked for a new room to be… Read more

We stayed at the Omni Parker House for the Boston Marathon and as such we paid a lot of money for the 2 nights. We had 2 dogs with us and I had to sign a waiver accepting, among other things, to be turfed out if there were any noise complaints about our dogs. We had not settled into our room for very long when the room next door was occupied by an extremely loud young family with a screaming baby/toddler (maybe both, given the noise levels). I called and requested a room change and the hotel simply said they would have security deal with it. Nothing was remedied. The noise continued. I really, really wanted a good night's sleep before the marathon and that didn't happen. The following morning, the day after the marathon, the family next door woke us up at 6:30 am with the kid(s) ringing a cowbell. This is egregious behaviour and absolutely unfair to us when we paid so much for the room. As for the hotel itself, the room was on the small size but nice. The sink was totally plugged up and someone from engineering came up to fix it. The thermostat had 2 settings: too hot or too cold. Front desk staff and valets/bellhops were all lovely. I expressed my concerns in writing to the hotel and have not had any follow-up. Read less

Great location, especially for marathon watchers. Rooms are small, but very well kept up. Refrigerators would be a good improvement. Check-in seemed slow, but rep was friendly. Breakfast was great. Disappointed that the restaurant isn't open for dinner.

I couldn’t bath my babies and we didn’t dare shower either (I’ll post photos of the bathroom). Our room was beyond… Read more
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This is without question the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life and I travel frequently. I was traveling with my husband and our two children (2 years old and 5 months). We were so uncomfortable. I couldn’t bath my babies and we didn’t dare shower either (I’ll post photos of the bathroom). Our room was beyond FILTHY and DISGUSTING and the staff was extremely rude. We requested to cancel and they wouldn’t let us. They said “ You can leave anytime but we aren’t refunding you.” They essentially forced our hand to stay. They do not care about their guests they only want the $. That was what was displayed. I never leave negative reviews but this was beyond terrible and I feel the responsibility to save others from having the same thing happen. The OMNI Parker House Hotel needs to be shut down for being unhealthy and unsafe. DO NOT STAY HERE! Read less
