Where is it

In downtown Chicago, 1 block away from Michigan Avenue with great shopping and restaurants. Close to Chicago Theatre, Millennium Park, Chicago Cultural Center, Theater District, Chicago River and Navy Pier. Transfer time from O'Hare International Airport: 1 hour.

Hotel information

250 rooms. All of which are two-chambered with a dressing room and a sleeping area separated by a sliding door. Facilities include air-conditioning, flat-screen HDTV, telephone, tea/coffee maker, mini-fridge, mini-bar, safe*, hairdryer and iron and board. Chamber Rooms are divided into two separate areas by sliding privacy doors - a dressing room and bedroom - with 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Grand Chamber Suites are slightly larger, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

  • Booking Bonus: Virgin Atlantic Holidays customers receive waived resort fee, saving $25 plus tax, per room, per day. Applicable to bookings made from 18th Dec 2023.

Hotel was clean and comfy, but the TV Software, setup is insanely bad, outdated laggy software made streaming, logging in watching anything that isn't a local cable station was impossible. So if you want to watch or stream anything DO NOT BOOK this hotel.

We received a bottle of wine and some delicious corn chips sent by Elina upon arrival. Totally unexpected but greatly appreciated, it was so kind of her. There was one hiccup during our stay. The water temperature in the shower went from freezing cold to scalding hot, no in between. The agent that on the text feature of the hotel app offered to send an engineer to fix it. After that point I was never notified or updated on the progress. I eventually went to the front desk and Danny was on it! I appreciate him so much and he was actually one of the reasons that I returned to the Virgin hotel. After the shower was fixed it worked perfectly. If i choose to return to the Virgin,I am hoping that Danny will be there to great me. Read less

The Team were all very polite and helpful Being part of the know was helpful, we were welcomed by Elina who emailed and was always on hand to answer any queries we had by email - very helpful and greatly appreciated. Didn't enjoy The Cerise, we were hoping to enjoy a quiet drink on the rooftop bar, but we didn't it was very tacky and like a nightclub. All in all the stay at the Virgin Hotel, Chicago was great. The mattress situation was terrible. We woke up too early, which caused us to have sore backs and a lack of sleep. I will never go back to Virgin Hotel again.
