Visited ‘New York New York’ after 4 weeks of traveling through North America and, wow, it was damn good to sleep in a comfortable bed. It felt like sleeping on a cloud. The hotel is very nice, the... Read more room were very much up to standard. The view from the hotel room was great, right over the strip. The location of the hotel was also exceptional, surrounded by a variety of dining options. But the hotel itself has a wealth of food options so you don’t even need to leave. They even have the deliciousness that is Nathan’s hot dogs. The casino itself is one of the better ones on vegas. I’m not a massive gambler but it was not intimidating for wannabe gamblers like me. Plenty of options and plenty of drink girls to bring you any liquid your hearts desires. There is also quite a lovely pool to lay around when need be. I want to stay in New York New York again if, and hopefully when, I go back to Vegas. I did look at the lobbies and casino of a variety of different places along the strip and New York New York was the favourite of mine. It’s not disgusting yet it isn’t trying to be overly fake glamorous. It is perfectly Vegas. Read less

Exploring neighboring casinos and businesses was exciting but the New York New York Hotel was a great destination spot on it's own. The variety of bars and restaurants would appeal to... Read more everyone...although bargain prices weren't on the menu. No coffee in the rooms gave Starbucks a guaranteed clientele. Many of the slot machines had labels of 1 cent which we're deceiving because minimum bets started at 40 cents. I HAD to "Do" the famous roller coaster at the hotel. The night view was mesmerizing from the ride and the scary factor very high. We bought tickets at the hotel for theatre shows then found many people were going to cheaper ticket booths along the street. Drinks were very high and the hostesses with free drinks while you're playing only approached us 3 times in 5 days. The decor was awesome in the interior of the hotel-so true to NY streets. Entertainment was varied and fun throughout the 'streets' of NY. Only problem was high cost of 'entrance' fees and drinks. Luckily you could enjoy from outside the bar. Staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Read less
