Bellagio

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Epically romantic, you may recognise the luxurious Bellagio as George Clooney and crew’s scene-stealing co-star from Ocean’s Eleven. But then, thanks to its world-famous dancing fountains (some of which shoot 460ft into the Vegas sky), the Bellagio has a habit of making any night along The Strip an unforgettable event. Look beyond the eight-acre Lago di Como and you’ll find head-turning elegance in a hotel that’s inspired by a picturesque Italian village. Rooms and suites are sumptuous without being flashy, there’s a gallery of fine art with rotating exhibitions, five pools with a refreshing Mediterranean accent, O, Cirque du Soleil’s® water-based extravaganza.

Great restaurants, very clean, beautiful conservatory. The only thing that brings down my score is that I wasn’t informed they would be doing construction on my floor every day and also that the art gallery was going to be closed for my entire trip

Lovely Hotel from the outside... But inside it is absolutely ZERO value for money. Neither is it luxurious. They fleece you with everything. Seems like all hotels here are the same but in terms of service, i felt they are the lowest low. The housekeeper who came to clean my room wanted to repeat all linen, only when i insisted did she change. For the kind of money we pay here, even if we ask for a linen change twice a day, it should be justified. There is no complimentary Drinking water in the room! I couldnt believe it until i called them and got it confirmed. The mini bar is exorbitantly expensive and sensor activated. You will be billed even if you move the items from its place... There is no free parking for room guests. You will have to pay.. The breakfast at the coffee shop isnt the easiest to get... there is a huge que and my wife had paid for an was waiting for her order but never got after 30 mts when she enquired they had missed the order completely!!!! This after paying the gratuity.... Extremely poor service! Read less

The smoking in the lobby (casino) was an automatic turnoff. The concierge was rude. Cleaning supplies were left in our room.
