The hotel

You'll feel like you're in the heart of this Romantic French capital as you dine at the top of the Eiffel Tower or wander around the Parisian boulevards, admiring the designer French boutiques. This hotel has a great central Strip location and of course, one of the best views of the unique Vegas skyline from the top of the tower, which is an amazing half-scale exact replica of the original. You can choose to stay in one of the newly remodeled Bordeaux Rooms, combining classic European elegance with a modern flair. Other Paris sights in replica include the Arc de Triomphe, Louvre façade, Paris Opera House façade and stage, Hotel de Ville and Alexander III Bridge. There are a number of French and international themed restaurants. You can dine out on the alfresco terrace eating authentic French cuisine at Mon Ami Gabi, watching the Bellagio fountains opposite and enjoying people watching on one of the world's most famous streets.

Room was ok, except the carpet looked bad. The real problem was they charged my credit card a $ 566.00 for an air alert, which Pasis accused us of smoking in the room. ( We do not smoke at all ). They would not take the fee off my bill. Would not recommend the Paris Hotel.

So many people were having issues with the kiosks after queuing for 30 mins plus only to find they had to join the manual check in that took 90 minutes! My plans for the evening were ruined as a result. Room was brand new but stunk and the shower didn’t have anywhere to put toiletries and the door didn’t close. Not what I’ve grown to expect from Vegas! Read less

Our stay was mostly good. We were in the newly renovated Versailles Tower, so we checked in at the Horseshoe. When we arrived, there was a small check in desk just inside the doors. But otherwise, there was a separate line at the Horseshoe registration counter just a few feet away to attend to Versailles guests. Side note: the Horseshoe registration/valet men we encountered were the nastiest I’ve ever come across in a hotel/service industry. (The women were lovely and helpful). Fortunately much of my communication was through texts with a virtual concierge, who was always polite and actually offered to extend our stay by a day for free- which we took advantage of because we were taking the redeye home. Our room was beautiful and large, but not entirely clean when we arrived. There were coffee drops on the dresser, plastic CVS bags in the drawers and a candy wrapper under the night table. Housekeeping serviced us very late every day too. There was no fridge, no bathrobes, no minibar. Not even a shower cap. Our room was “strip view.” It was not on the strip, but we could see the strip. We did have a fabulous view of the High Roller and the Sphere, albeit with a rope from construction dangling from the roof in front of our window. We also looked down on Ole Red- a multi level club with live music. On Friday and Saturday nights the loud music and DJ squawking until the wee hours was disturbing. For that trouble, I was given earplugs. The Versailles tower is also not directly connected to the Paris. We had to walk through the Horseshoe casino to get to the Parisian streets with the shops, restaurants and Paris casino. One would have to do that to get to the Paris pool as well, so that was pretty inconvenient particularly in pool attire. But the location overall couldn’t be beat. We were walking distance to our show and dinner plans. For other activities off the strip there was a designated area for Uber pickup. We learned that for Uber, the pickup is Ballys because that is what it used to be. Read less
