The LINQ Hotel + Experience

The Strip, Las Vegas

Virgin rating

The hotel

Well-connected, the name lets slip the hotel’s ‘link’ to extra food, fun and frivolity. The guestrooms are hip and high-tech, but you won’t be there much with the LINQ’s endless diversions. The centrepiece is the High Roller – the world’s tallest observation wheel, at 550-ft high it takes 30 minutes to do the full loop. You’re also ‘linked’ to an exclusive shopping, entertainment and dining promenade. And, of course, the all-essential Vegas casino. Over 21s can enjoy the pool, with nightly swims twice a week, Champagne Sundays and pool deck misting. Then there are the other decadences: the Brooklyn Bowl, a massive bowling and live music venue, and endless dining and drinking establishments, including 24-hour Hash House A Go Go, whose colossal portions featured on ‘Man v Food’.

Our check in time for lovers and friends festival was 3:00 and they charged us $25 to check in at 2:40. Completely ridiculous and would never stay here again. They like to say this hotel is one of the newer properties but really it is just a rehash of older properties but with crappier policies.

Standing in a looooong line waiting to check-in but all the check-in kiosks are out of order and no IT help in sight. The line looks like the one at Target on Black Friday. No update or assistance from anyone so far....we're at the 45 min mark. Oh and only 2 people for live check-in and roughly 300 people in line. 100% will never stay here again.

The hotel tries to come off as a new hip place but fails the rooms are outdated. Small are not clean. We had issues with the shower, not draining the dryer, not working light switches, not working, we had neighbors who complained of sewage smells in their room. And when we all complained we were told, we can upgrade our room for a higher charge. They would not move us, they would not take care or do anything for our issues. They basically told us we had to deal with it. It is a terrible place to stay. They do not care about their customers. The pool has limited areas to sit unless your will to pay seventy dollars plus a day. We definitely will never stay here again. Read less

Hotel smells of cannabis everywhere, wake up in the morning and it is seeping into the rooms. Beds comfy, shower ok... very basic. It is definitely worth the extra money to stay in caesars or planet Hollywood

The hotel was great for the price that we paid. We paid about 70$ a night for the king suite and we were pleased. The room was big and clean. It was loud during the day but quiet at night. There is plenty to do around the hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much.
