I stayed for one night on a business trip, and the hotel was excellent. Valet parking was convenient and timely, the staff was outstanding, and the room was very quiet.

The location in Chinatown is hard to beat especially if you want to spend most of your time just exploring all the local eateries within Chinatown/ lower east side/east village. The location in Chinatown is hard to beat especially if you want to spend most of your time just exploring all the local eateries within Chinatown/ lower east side/east village. Close to subway and all of Manhattan. We have returned multiple times and consider it our home in NYC whenever we visit due to the location, quality of rooms, the amazing rain shower/bathroom, the nice robes. There's plenty of places to eat and drink nearby so their bar and restaurant isn't worth it. We also don't really use the gym when you can just get your steps in by walking everywhere. Service is so personal and attentive. If you arrive early or leave late, they do their best to accommodate you. They gave me a room at 10am when check in is usually at 4pm. And bellhop suggested ordering a flat fare taxi during surge pricing which saved me some money. Read less

Very good sized rooms - beatiful views. walking to many sites and good food choices in the area. Rooftop is great for happy hour sunset - free coffee and tea on the second floor for breakfast with kids play area - only wihs they served breakfast in the hotel

The last time we stayed there I forgot something in the room after we checked out and they allowed me back in right away. We sometimes bring our dog and they treat him like royalty. We plan to go back. Hotel 50 Bowery is our go-to hotel for the lower manhattan area. Read less

The staffs are friendly and welcoming, very polite as well when responding to my request for directions and suggestions. Enjoyed the magnificent view from rooftop bar … drinks are pricey as expected but worth it for the experience. Felt like it’s the safest hotel I ever stayed at as there are a few banks and jewellery shops nearby, you will find many police cars parked at the streets 24/7 for security purpose. Pro tip: Grab a free coffee on 2nd floor then walk to the legendary Mei Lai Wah bakery and get the pineapple bun with roast pork for breakfast. Read less
