Disgusting pillows with sweat odour. Asked the front to replace the stinky pillows but didn't even bother for the full 24 hours. But still, the odour remained on the replaced pillows.

The customer service at Hotel Edison is absolutely above and beyond superior. I want to specifically call out and thank Shonda at the front desk who entirely made my day. My plans changed and she took the time to help me out and really saved me, when the fault was entirely mine. Thank you so much, Shonda!

We had a three night stay over a long weekend in mid-April (MA school vacation week). The hotel location is perfect for catching shows on Broadway. The staff was nice and we enjoyed the evening wine hour on Friday. The room left a bit to be desired. We were in 1912 -- the 19th floor looked much more outdated than some of the floors we saw on the way up the elevator. Maybe it hasn't been renovated yet? The room itself (Standard King Suite) would have been fine but the pull out sofa bed (our two kids were sleeping on it) was missing a bunch of attachments holding the bed to the outside frame. We assumed it wouldn't be really comfortable (they never are) but didn't expect broken. Our bed (king) could have used a new mattress and quite a few of the drawer fronts on the bedroom dresser were held together with dark tape. The window screen was broken too -- sounds nitpicky, but when you take all of these odd / broken things together it feels a bit rundown. The price was reasonable for the area but not cheap. We loved the hustle and bustle in the lobby and the proximity to the theaters. Read less
