Hotel Zephyr

Fisherman's Wharf, San Francisco

The hotel

After a multi million dollar renovation, the Zephyr has been transformed into a modern, quirky hotel with a nautical theme and laidback vibe. In the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf, you can walk to PIER 39 and Ghirardelli Square (did someone say chocolate?) or jump on a cable car to explore further. Hidden at the back of the hotel is Socialite, a casual restaurant with a sociable atmosphere. There are lots of dining options close by too — grab a clam chowder bread bowl or head to Chinatown for delicious dim sum. When you're done sightseeing for the day, your hotel room offers a welcome oasis from a city that seemingly never sleeps!

Extremely convenient to walk right over to the fisherman‘s wharf area. It’s really cool and artsy inside and in the courtyard. So much to look at. Around the clock fire pits going with games and stuff to do. Very funky and kind of early garage atmosphere. Well done! The room is a bit small but completely sufficient for a couple nights stay.… Read more

Great experience. Small but wonderful room, huge balcony. Great view of the water and the Ferris wheel. Want to single out Anthony for wonderful service. Also, also the fact that you can get a s’mores package and cook it outside at the fire rings is amazing.

I loved everything about this place, the staff were sincerely accommodating, namely Prince—and I thoroughly enjoyed all of what the hotel had to offer around a most beautiful side of San Francisco. The rooms were interesting and fun with a lot of charm, great stuff!
